People can still discuss Haiti, can they not. Instead of being an entitled a$$hole with your experience, why do you simply add it to flesh out assertions that likely would be made. You know, like civilized people would do. Don't know why Coli always has to have a dikk measuring contest on EVERY SINGLE THREAD.
You don't blame the White man. GOOD. I mean , but it doesn't mean they haven't gone out of their way to put Haiti in the situation it was in. All through the 90's I heard, from Blacks too, that you all had AIDS and shyt. It was just foul, until you learned our history, what was being said, and it was coming from the premecy.
I know what you mean. We tend to want to blame Whites for everything, even if they had a hand in a lot, but can't wait to show them how much we need them. From what I gather, we don't trust people who can actually think for themselves and lead people without some graft (and maybe my mispelled graff too) involved. We want a hive mind, constantly, and that mind is usually programmed to let someone else (maybe Da Lawd) do all the heavy lifting, or a preacher do the organization. The truth is haiti cant get it right cause the people aint shyt saying the white man had a hand in our demise is oversimplifying it...the people elect leaders who aint shyt so they are to blame for the current situation...we cant handle democracy...our 2 periods of prosperity came under the white man ( U.S occupation frm 1919 to 1934) and dictatorship (under papa doc duvalier frm 1954 to 1973 i think)...my mom was born in 1953 so she was raised under the papa doc regime...she said thats the only time in her life she remember port-au-prince being trash free...streeta clean, decent jobs, virtually no crime...we seemed to have went backwards with time...cant blame the white man for that...as recent as last month, we getting ready for a civil war cause, once again, the people are just idiots...
African americans should make haiti the country they wanted...help rebuild the place...spend your money there...that 100k rick ross threw at a stripper could be better invested in haiti...we have a labor force thats literally dying to work...there is only one highway in haiti...a roads construction project will yield thousands of jobs...lets face it, african americans will never be successful as a whole in america due to white racism...haiti is the first country in the world to free it self frm the yoke of slavery, yall ahould join us...african american females are the highest college graduating demographic...why put that education to use for the white man?I know what you mean. It'd sad how much we really need intelligent Blacks, but flock to the disfunctional, trollish, glamour addicted, and revolving prisoner types. They don't challenge us, and we really need to be challenged. I understand what you're saying. Just take it easy on some of the posters, as a few of us have you in mind. When there's shared empathy, we can have shared solutions, and shared investment in the problems.
Yeah, should be a generational effort to invest in Haiti. I totally agree. It's just the matter of finding the right business model (s), and what route there is to social stability. No one is going to want to come there if they don't know how ratchet and desperate a people are or can get. I'll definitely look into it after I finish school.African americans should make haiti the country they wanted...help rebuild the place...spend your money there...that 100k rick ross threw at a stripper could be better invested in haiti...we have a labor force thats literally dying to work...there is only one highway in haiti...a roads construction project will yield thousands of jobs...lets face it, african americans will never be successful as a whole in america due to white racism...haiti is the first country in the world to free it self frm the yoke of slavery, yall ahould join us...african american females are the highest college graduating demographic...why put that education to use for the white man?

Im moving back to haiti after i get my bachelors in I.T...haiti got next to zero internet connectivity...ill put my skills to use helping my people...i wish african americans would stop crying out for the white man's acceptance and embrace haiti...it can be a small start...vacation jn haiti instead of dominican republic, theyre on the same damn island so it aint no difference...and dominicans are known c00ns anyways ...baby steps...seeing pics of angela simmons on vacation in haiti was a good start...
Elaborate, if you have time.Thats YOUR families perspective. I have heard vastly different accounts from other Hatians
What dofferent accounts?Thats YOUR families perspective. I have heard vastly different accounts from other Hatians
Also this discussing America's position on Haiti and their "big stick" policy, not this white man bullshyt you happened to bring up
Whats worse is that you didn't even bother to watch the video yet you comment??
Such intellectually dishonest bullshyt
Elaborate, if you have time.

What natural resources were taken frm haiti?A lot of strife between the rich of haiti and the poor.
America was also able to take much of the agricultural resources out of Haiti for nearly nothing
The strife between the rich and poor is long standing because the rich and powerful were mulattos
Constitution was rewritten to benefit the US economically
It wasn't constant civil war but it was open exploitation
Is this still the case. Yeah, my main concern in outside investment is the high crime rates, and lack of shared struggle to solve fundamental problems. Running to America for peanut help, only seems to set them more for more outside negative influence and exploitation. This keeps the people frustrated, and they lash out of the closest things to them....themselves.A lot of strife between the rich of haiti and the poor.

Well from the people that were alive in the 60s and so on, they know firsthand that the country was a way better place...nikka i left haiti in 1998, i never saw a street traffic light till i came here to miami seems like we stopped making progress...cant fault the white man for that...between 1990 and 2004 there were 4 military coups cant fault the white man for that...frm independence in 1804 to the U.S occupation in 1915 haiti had 28 different presidents/heads of states not the white man fault...Rice, Corn and bananas primarily Their main resources
