Yeah dude's statement was one of the ugliest examples of misogyny and chauvinism I've ever seen here. It wasn't biting or bombastic at first glance and didn't contain any obscene pejoratives. But it was worse than your usual "a womans's place is in the kitchen" rhetoric. He had the audacity and arrogance to tell the entirety of one of the two genders what their purpose, virtue, and meaning in life is based upon as a function of being born of that gender, and defined how it SHOULD equate to happiness for them, and how they should love being in that subordinate, self-denying role. And said they're a tragedy and a lost soul if they don't follow his instructions.

im not. to me its sad to see a woman thats old and has nobody in her life, no kids or spouse or anything like that. in a familyless society, i feel like that will be more and more people. not just women either but a lot of you guys will probably be living alone too. some of you guys will probably end up dying alone too...
