Just saw it today. One of the only three people in the theater 
Fun ass flick, although you could tell where the plot was headed until the very end...

They really did. This should have came out in Aug-Sep. Releasing this in the May-Jun period was the wrong move.

I agree. I had never even heard of it until i saw a trailer like 2 weeks before it came out (before Deadpool 2 IIRC). And I watch trailers daily.
I think there were 4 people total in the theater and it's out after this week since it hardly made any $$$.
Their was no advertising at all. I didn't see a trailer once anywhere. The film didn't get a wide release,it didn't even release in Canada and Canada is included in domestic box office totals. I don't think it's getting any type of worldwide release either.
Feels like they just wanted to dump it in theatres to make the budget back for two week at the last minute instead of a vod release.. But ultimately it feels like a huge wasted opportunity because if they picked a quiet release period,released it wide and spent a bit on marketing they could have had a modest hit like something like den of thieves.
this should have had roles reversed with trash like truth or dare.
Looking further into it Blumhouse tilt is the distributor here rather than Universal which puts it into 3 times as many theaters.
seems to be standard operating procedure for their movies. 1500 or so screens and happy to get double their budget back

other than some chemistry w the wife, the first 40 minutes were boring, the remaining 75 minutes weren't much better, The theme of our continuous attempts to escape our reality will be our undoing was very good. Not much else in this movie was im afraid, high Matinee
shyt was fire. I wish it was a little longer though.

At least with ex machina, you could see her naked, and root against the other two dudes, when he refused to tell the creator that she was effing with the locks, I said aloud in the theatre, I hope y'all both die...
The only reason that hacker was in the movie (besides the obvious) was for a possible spinoff later and they didn't even cast her right
