I was disappointed to see that this movie only made like 4 million over the weekend. They was foolish to release it in June with all the juggernauts, a January or February release would have done much more better.

It could have been a straight to Netflix tbh.....but still glad I got a chance to see it.

Could have to be honest, I am still interested in Bright. Luckily Blumhouse can’t incur a loss from this due to the production budget of their movie being minuscule compared to other production companies. I heard they only spent 15 million on the marketing.

This joint would have blown up had it been on netflix...im honestly surprised Jason Blum does not have a deal with them

I saw the movie yesterday and I really liked it. The fighting choreography was done really well and the cinematography used when Stem was first taking control of Grey's body and the almost Robocop looking moves were really dope. The movie is definitely a hidden gem that I'm glad I stumbled upon it.

That ending had me like :banderas:
.
That fukkery in the end was some next level type shyt. Now that Stem is completely autonomous and everyone is out of his way, including Grey, where could they go on from this? I really hope they make a sequel because I want more of Stem and Grey. I had a feeling that Grey was going to be in a fantasy world due to the foreshadowing with the people using the VR sets in order to escape the pain of the everyday life.

I really enjoyed the movie a lot more than I thought I would.

I actually hope there isn’t a sequel, there’s really no where else to go with the plot, every one got what they wanted. STEM got his “happy” ending with no one in his way and Grey got his by being back with his wife even if it’s not “real”.

Maybe

Gray wakes up and realizes he’s being used by Stem and decides to fight back somehow? Could be interesting to see the struggle between him and Stem..

But what would the struggle be about now that he solved his case, Stem is the only reason his body functions so if he wins does he just go back to being a suicidal paraplegic?

Gray’s moms still alive, she’d bring back his human side and show him all the damage he’s caused. That hacker chick is still alive, maybe he finds her and figures out how to override Stem, that way he controls it instead of Stem controlling him

It was a solid movie. If it ends up being one of the best of 2018, then the 2018 calendar is going to be like the 2000 NBA Draft.
