Also it would be a shot in the arm for Sasha and the fans, so they might get strongly in her corner. Look how that backfired when they had Becky turn heel on Charlotte last year. Even had her cutting the rocky maivia “you people booed me so you can all kiss my ass” promo.

When you spring shyt on workers last minute like that, they’re less likely to be happy to work. When that’s the case, it tends to show in the quality of work. If the quality of work is lower, the audience support won’t be as strong. Then there’s less blowback from the crowd when they mistreat her. Same shyt they do to pretty much everyone.
Some of these WWE marks need to ask themselves a question: If your boss constantly sprung some shyt on you the DAY OF an important meeting with managers and expected you to simply provide them with the data or reporting that they needed every single time, would you be ok with that shyt? Or would you look at that person like :shaq2:

Some people would accept that shyt as part of the job but some people would eventually walk because straight up that is a sign of bad management.

I’ll never forget that night and how many stooges worked that phrase or a reference to it in their segments and promos that night

I don’t get how the people working there didn’t understand that if that happened to STEVE AUSTIN it could happen to them. Same with the screwjob. People though Bret would have been the LAST guy Vince would have done that too, especially after signing a 20 year contract, but it did. Sasha better look out for Sasha because time is of the essence

It's really bizarre to me that they don't tell the talent ahead of time about shyt like moving brands, which necessitates a different schedule, altering previously made travel plans, etc. There's literally zero reason to do that other than lol work the boys mentality.

It’s because the boys spoil storylines by giving them to the internet guys like Meltzer in hopes he’ll write good things about them and get them over to internet fans.

The thing that kills me about these situations not just with Sasha but any time we learn someone is unhappy is the fans who fall over themselves to defend WWE. Same folks who will complain all day about people being underutilized or bad booking or whatever seem to expect these wrestlers to just take it forever and basically die for this company. fukk that.

People walk off jobs because they're unhappy with their treatment everyday, b. Why should WWE be any different? shyt they're about to lose a top guy (Dean Ambrose) for that exact reason. They've also lost guys in the midcard like Luke Harper. Even a jobber like Tye Dillenger rolled out. If Sasha really is that unhappy with where she is, then it behooves her to finally just dip and see what else is out there. Any organization with a women's division would probably fall over themselves to have her, and there are numerous examples of people flipping a WWE career into more mainstream ventures that she can follow should she decide wrestling isn't for her at this time.

These wrestlers have got to stop letting Vince and co. get away with pushing them around and limiting their opportunities. If you're unhappy, bet on you and see what else is out there. I get that WWE is the dream, but what good is a dream if it crushes your spirit?

“The reason I’m leaving is you people, because after I’m gone, you’re still gonna pour money into this company. I’m just a spoke on the wheel, and the wheel is gonna keep turning, I understand that. Vince McMahon is gonna make money despite himself. He’s a millionaire who should be a billionaire...”

You hit the nail on the head though. I’ve quit jobs without notice after getting fed up with bullshyt from management on several occasions, and I’m sure that more than a few people in here have. Why should we expect the wrestlers who are subjected to far worse work conditions than many of us deal with to still stick around?

I just up and left my last job, they weren't shyt and it only took me like 3 months to find something way better in my field and I've been pretty happy since. I didn't have a backup plan at all I bet on myself and my education. Also, I had saved up plenty of money to live on. I'm sure some of these wrestlers are financially stable and have saved money so fukk it go out there and see what you can do. WWE will crawl back to them anyway especially if AEW takes off.

Punk is a perfect example. There's a contingent of fans who HATE his ass purely because he walked out. Which is funny because even though the pipebomb was a worked shoot, the very promo they love so much laid it all out for them. They're gonna pour money into WWE regardless if he's there or not. So why should he care or feel like he owes them anything?

Granted, Punk is kind of a dikk, so there are other reasons one could find to hate him lol. However, I'd wager that's not most of those fans' beef with him because for all the venom they spew or the memes they share, they are obsessed with the idea of him coming back. This is where we get into that area of fandom where people associate their individual personality too strongly with a thing they like. Punk didn't walk out on WWE; he walked out on them. Ignore that the man still does public appearances, events, and other ventures where one can support him. No, he has to be in WWE because being in WWE means being there for them.

Same thing applies to Sasha. The fans feel entitled to her no matter how unhappy she may be. Add in some extra layers of racism and sexism on top and the response she's getting should surprise no one.

“Am I a bad guy? Absolutely. I don’t wear a white hat, but the problem here Vince, is that you don’t care, while I care too much!”

They manipulate the audience to hate the wrestlers for getting fed up with poor treatment. They use their love of pro wrestling against them and then bring a few stooges at the top to do an interview where they just generalize every ex wrestler as some hack who couldn’t connect with the crowd when they decide they’ve finally been fed enough bullshyt from the McMahon family and realize the problems will never be fixed as long as Vince and Stephanie are around.

Same crowd that reacts anytime a wrestler looks out for themselves instead of the brand.

The problem with Sasha is is that she's too much of a mark to actually quit that place.

Same with Bayley.

They both grew up wanting to be in the WWE and had no problem telling everybody that and for some reason I think it makes Vince respect them less for some reason, and even some of the guys on here always rag on guys for taking "playfighting" too seriously, like you're not supposed to take your job seriously or something.

It's crazy, but I think Brock Lesnar is more respected than a lot of guys because it's so obvious that he doesn't care.
