Regarding Banks, it should be noted that the decision to put the women’s tag titles on The Iiconics was not a last minute decision and many people knew about it in the company. However, Banks & Bayley weren’t told until the day of the show. They were also told at the time that the company was going to drop them as a tag team. I don’t know if they were told about being put on different brands, because WWE keeps that stuff secret from the talent (there may be exceptions for bigger names, but for the most part nobody knows) but they were aware they weren’t going to team up any longer. So it was the combination of not getting the title run they expected to establish the belts as meaningful and not joke belts, and splitting up their team so quickly that got both of them upset. Bayley was upset but didn’t quit or anything. Banks was given a few weeks off when she tried to quit with the idea of them sorting things out and time off would lead her to wanting to come back. Despite rumors to the contrary, she was never booked for television this week, at least since WrestleMania. They are hopeful she’ll be back over the next few weeks and she is tentatively booked for the 5/19 Money in the Bank show in Hartford, but nothing is concrete as far as her status. If she returns, she’s scheduled for Raw, because the reason for the split-up is that Bayley was always scheduled to move to Smackdown, a decision that has been the plan for some time even though kept secret until probably whenever they told Bayley she had to stay the extra day in Montreal this week.

At this point, Sasha isn’t coming back and if she does then it’s on her because Vince will take every opportunity to shyt on her. Stephanie will be slapping her in the face and beating her clean in seconds. He would have Braun beat her husband up in a angle . Shane would have crawling and barking. She should never come back.

At some point, there comes a time in your life where you just gotta put everything else aside and do what's best for you. fukk the company, the bosses, the fans, YOU and your best interests are your main focus at that moment in time. Vince has made it abundantly clear that he's not gonna prioritize Sasha over the likes of Alexa, Ronda, Charlotte, and possibly Lacey, Toni, and Rhea when they come up and has seen her as the go-to to build up someone's credibility for the last 3 or so years. She's had one successful title defense of every main roster title she's won, has been basically floating in that dead zone of "Over but we have nothing for you outside of the occasional job-to-our-preferred-stars" space for the last 18 or so months, and it's probably never gonna change She has to decide if she wants to keep that cycle going (because you know they're petty enough to do her dirty if/when she comes back), or if she wants a change of scenery.

Basically they book her the same way they have spent the last six years booking Dolph Ziggler
So if they were gonna split them up why not have them fight the iconics in a rematch the raw after mania and have bayley get pinned again causing Sasha to attack Bayley after the match for losing again. This way you have a reason they break up and a storyline and Sasha could've turned heel and challenged Becky on Raw.
It's really bizarre to me that they don't tell the talent ahead of time about shyt like moving brands, which necessitates a different schedule, altering previously made travel plans, etc. There's literally zero reason to do that other than lol work the boys mentality.

When you spring shyt on workers last minute like that, they’re less likely to be happy to work. When that’s the case, it tends to show in the quality of work. If the quality of work is lower, the audience support won’t be as strong. Then there’s less blowback from the crowd when they mistreat her. Same shyt they do to pretty much everyone.

She will be back. They will appease her with a mini run. Then she'll eventually fall out their favor again and it'll be rinse, lather, repeat.
