This. Has me :what: at the clippers players. LeBron did it for black people. The Media will love him and his name will be on 24/7 on ESPN, CNN, FoxNews, etc will be all over on LeBron about how hero he is while the clippers players be lik e:dwillhuh: like "I wish we could have done what LeBron did"..... :to: "We f*cked up dawg".

Hopefully, LeBron pulls this shyt off.

Not really. The media would turn on him and somehow label him a racist. Which is why it would send a powerful statement if he sat out. Sacrificing his "safe" non-threatening media image to take a stand against white supremacy.

lebron wouldn't do this
but just the thought of him doing this will send shockwaves.

:troll:, actually i could see lebron doing this hes such a big star, he could easily make 20 mill tax free playing overseas

but for real I've gained immense respect for lebron through this situation, he's teh nba biggest star and hes really the only one who keeps speaking out, issue died down somewhat he brought it up again, alot of these old kewns with white wives staying all quiet like a mouse

Pretty much. The media spin wouldn't even be surprising. Either way though, him sitting out would be a powerful statement.

bron caught hell from cacs everywhere for leaving cleveland. once he saw them burning his jersey and heard gilbert's comments, then saw a young black boy get killed bc of his skin color in his own backyard, i think it clicked in his mind what the big picture is when it comes to being black in america.

the backlash he catches if he actually does sit out will be EPIC...fox news will dedicate their entire day to bashing him, prolly bring up all sorts of shyt of him smoking weed as a youngster and his mother being a teenage druggie who had him out of wedlock

Nas said Athletes today are scared to make Muhammad Ali statements. Lebron Luther King might make one:banderas:

Exactly. My Grandma would look at me like :what:

You're rich and you scare to take a stand while we back then were broke don't have no money and we still stick together, took a stand, whatever is necessary and what the f*ck do you have to lose?

What exactly were they supposed to do? The commissioner asked them what they wanted and they said for sterling to :camby: the nba banned him and will make him sell and no matter how much he or his wife fights they will lose."Taking a stand" proves what
