Lol half the landlords are Igbo.

Hyperbole at best. Plus who did they buy the land from?
And all he did is tell the truth, people want to act like IPOB is Boko Haram, people aren’t scared of IPOB, they don’t have the militancy non-Igbos try to label them with, hell a lot of Igbos wish they were more militant.
Agreed.
Igboland currently has state supported vigilante groups acting as gap insurance for the police on crime, those groups have more artillery than IPOB.
True, and hopefully you would agree that this setup is currently failing due to all the killing and mayhem being perpetuated by these same groups as well as IPOB themselves. IPOB are killing Igbo people in Igboland. Not the best way to get sympathy for the cause.

It has to be mental illness to hate a group of people then act crazy when they say we should separate from each other as a nation state.
A whole civil war was fought over this issue. Millions died and Igbos lost. Why are they continuously fighting a lost cause? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the epitome of mental illness.

IPOB isn’t killing a lot of people, kidnappers, robbers, and people doing money rituals are doing majority of the killing. Any separatist violence in the Southeast is a spec of sand compared to everything else.

IPOB transforming into a violent fascist force in Igboland is what Yorubas and Fulanis wish and hope happens but as of now, no they’re not that yet.

Lol this is like when cacs call BLM a terrorist organization.

And lol nations go through multiple civil wars, 50 years isn’t a long time, and Biafra is an honorable goal. There are several recognized nations on earth that don’t have the geographical size or population of SouthEast Nigeria.

These borders never made sense, the only reason people want to uphold them is because oil is located in a specific region that they would have no claim to without colonial borders. But they want to extract the oil without enriching the natives, to the point that they will handicap the development of the entire nation.

Most of the oil isn't in Igboland, and a huge portion of people in Biafra weren't Igbo and were terrorised because of it.

Subtract the oil, most of the coal and natural gas is in Igboland even when you ignore the oil deposits in Igboland. Igboland is resource rich no matter how you cut it.

The South-South descriptor was always a division tactic that was fostered by violence during the war.

Go back to the NCNC party, the Niger Delta region was part of a southeast Nigeria agenda. Delta state is atleast 1/3 Igbo.

Okay so why did Biafran soldiers kill minorities? You guys love to pretend that didn't happen and just want to be the ones on top instead of whoever else.

They attacked people that weren’t supporting the war effort, it was wrong but outsiders latch onto the violence more than those that were actually victims at this point.

Southeast Nigeria is very diverse, and we coexist with almost no ethnic violence against each other.

You guys act like these aren’t groups that Igbos intermarry with the most.

Igbos are democratic and meritocratic, we don’t hate on capable minorities, we recruit them lol.

Having a ruling class that lives in wealth while the poverty stricken masses worship them has never been our culture.

Yes you are the ubermenschen of Nigeria :mjpls:

A bunch of igbos (in this the thread quite clearly) worship Peter Obi who is just a neoliberal elite himself.

:yeshrug: When people outside of Nigeria form their opinions on it’s people, whether they be Africans, White, or Asian the general consensus is the Igbos are the most capable, as if the literacy and education stats didn’t already show this.

Eastern Nigeria was the fastest growing economy in the world for a reason.

Yorubas are second place in those indices but instead of focusing on improving their own lives, it seems more are focused on preventing the Igbos from advancing more.

It’s not all Yorubas are haters, but the haters are very loud.

You have Yoruba using IPOB as a derogatory term, when IPOB has nothing to do with them. They rather created hysteria about “IPOB invading Lagos”, when Igbos aren’t the ones violently dominating them. That title goes to their Muslim masters.

Instead they latch on to the violence a military force committed against people that they arent related to, lol the same minority groups you guys prop up to show Igbo domination conspiracies, produced commanders for the Biafran army. But you intentionally conflate political violence with ethnic violence for propaganda reasons.

Igbos just want a free and fair Nigeria, but others don’t want that because the last time Nigeria was meritocratic, even though it was much better functioning than it’s current state, it ended up with Igbos holding most of the power. After that tribal politics became the focus. Dudes rather have a dunce or crook from their tribe lead them rather than a capable man just because he’s Igbo.

I wasn’t even a Obi supporter, but you really think the drug lord (Tinubu) and the guy that was caught redhanded embezzling 40 million dollars by the US government (Atiku) were better choices?

Obi was clearly the most honest and trustworthy candidate, but like I said from the beginning none of that mattered because of his tribe.

Another ethnic bigot like Mansa Musa.

Curious, have you ever lived in Nigeria?

Every reputable news agency and report blames IPOB many of the killings so unless you have evidence of the contrary I'm inclined to believe the news. But you highlighted some serious issues. Kidnapping, robbery and don't forget baby factories are rampant in the southeast. It's a very terrible situation in Igboland.
IPOB transforming into a violent fascist force in Igboland is what Yorubas and Fulanis wish and hope happens but as of now, no they’re not that yet.
The evidence and news reports say differently.

To you it's Honorable but to the entirety of Nigeria it isn't.
These borders never made sense, the only reason people want to uphold them is because oil is located in a specific region that they would have no claim to without colonial borders. But they want to extract the oil without enriching the natives, to the point that they will handicap the development of the entire nation.
The main reason Biafra won't happen is because the Niger Delta will never join. The natural resources found in the Niger Delta dwarfs the little that's found in Igboland. If Igboland was so ready for independence why do Igbos constantly runaway to places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Kano and Kaduna?

The coal you have is hardly adding anything to the Nigerian economy. Same goes for the gas as it's mostly untapped. As I said before the natural resources found in Igboland are inconsequential when compared to the Niger Delta. I dare you to prove me wrong. The south-south wants NO part of Biafra. Y'all are on your own.

He simply hates Igbo people but he’ll never admit it. Why even bother talking to him.

Our very existence pisses him off. He probably goes to bed sobbing,

“Why won’t they die!”
:damn:
