You can’t own a home in China. All land outside of rural land is owned by the state of which you can only lease the land for 70 years.

China’s GDP figures are likely fudged since they won’t allow any independent analysis and also outside of urban areas where most people live on less than $20 a day.

China has created massive wealth but this is mostly because of the US using it for cheap labor and manufacturing and Chinas large population. China is going to experience demographic collapse in the coming decades and with its largely homogenous population that does not have babies nor wants to return to slave labor it will likely see a drastic decline in wealth. China in essence has peaked and its only down from here
