American companies can copy TikTok's algorithms. Don't believe the lies they can't.
They don't want to as TikTok's algorithm isn't based on paying for Ads/Sponsored Posts to get in front of millions. They show everybody. Google and Facebook want you paying $100 per click or some bullshyt like that.

The Chinese government is already playing mind games with Donald Trump and his voters now we know they don't like his ass, and so this whole savior complex they're applying to him if you read between the lines, is them basically laughing and mocking the United States, specifically those who support Trump (MAGA) because TikTok has no intentions of selling their creation to the US so they are mocking those who believe Trump is gonna save the app.
This is similar to how a lot of people initially thought Trump was going to “save” us from high grocery prices and inflation until he let the cat out of the bag and said that there was nothing he could do which afterward many people laughed and mocked his supporters for thinking otherwise.
He can't unban the app through executive order, and the Supreme Court, I doubt, will change their minds unless the app gets sold to the US.
