You're not wrong. Kawhi at no point in time was ever better than LeBron, Durant, or Curry. It was a narrative created out of media boredom and pushed hard due to KD and Curry's injuries last year forcing the "need" for a superstar of LeBron's stature to keep things interesting.

The best defense is to make luka play defense. If he running around because they picking on him on defense luka gets out his game.
But the truth is luka is clearly the best player in that series and they are at his mercy. But the clippers have a deeper team and everyone should be stepping up but they not. Mavs role players stepping up.

Kawhi needs to settle to maybe having only 10-15 pts for the first 3 quarters and stick to luka like glue. Then in the 4th kawhi needs to put the team on his back because the clippers don't have a closer. Playoff p ain't it.

The only problem is the team as a whole is shooting over 60%. They can’t stop the leaking overall. Kawhi has to fight over/thru screens at all cost with Luka during the course of the game but that turn it on shyt works when the game is close. The Clippers are doing all they can to score with these guys. Waiting until the 4th for buckets if you’re down 18 isn’t going to help
