ROH was the best thing going in wrestling, until they started doing tv.

The Nexus sucked other than thier debut

Santino Marella is NOT funny.

Merging these belts together, won't lead to anything great at all.

I always mark out for athletic fat wrestlers, that do cruiserweight-like moves (Samoa Joe, Kevin Steen, Willie Mack)

If you really think about it Triple H and CM Punk are practically the same type of person.

Christian is one the most underrated performers and was always more well rounded than Edge.

whenever Meltzer's right it's always about something I wont like.

-Goldust deserves a WWE World title push...NOW

-Christian put on better matches with Randy Orton than Daniel Bryan or CM Punk ever have

-Bret/Owen at WMania 10 is probably the best straight-up wrestling match with no gimmicks and a clean finish WWF/E has ever had

-CM Punk's failure as a face the first time around had a lot to do with his look

-Battle Royale's suck, always have

-The WWE NOT exploiting Darren Young's homosexuality for entertainment was one of the best decisions this company has made since........

-Jesse Ventura deserves more respect than any legend that has ever stepped foot in a WWE ring

expand on this please..I'm interested to read your thoughts

Chris Benoit was always "change the channel" status for me. I felt that they "wasted" WrestleMania XX on him, even before the murders.
Exactly, and so was WWE Eddie Guerro. he was a better worker in wcw, before he got roided up.... never liked owen hart either. Them dudes may have been great workers but their characters were boring and corny.... and considering the overall opinion on this board, I like Randy Orton and american bad ass taker was terrible I hated that shyt...

- the vast majority of folks who call other cats "smarks" and "marks" have no clue what a smark/mark is and likely are one themselves

- the WAY over the top violence of ECW got them noticed and sadly that now is their legacy. It makes it hard to look back and see the dope matches, feuds and especially promos because there were several.

- Kane's name needs to start coming up when folks get to talking all time great big men, his durability is remarkable, hes not bat shyt crazy (Sid), he doesn't let himself get out of shape, he's held his own in quite a few big matches and with some great workers plus he's somehow remained over even though booking hasn't always been kind or fair to him.

- Sting obviously did great in NWA/WCW he has a HOF resume with a look, personality and gimmick that was a much better fit for the WWF at the time which speaks volumes for the performer Steve was IMO. WCW/NWA was gritty and striving for realism in their angles. WWE was about larger than life personas and bodies. Young Sting in the same spots The Ultimate Warrior was in feuding with prime Hulk, Andre, Savage, prime Rick Rude, Mr Perfect woulda yielded some amazing stuff

- It's almost disturbing how much less interesting CM Punk is as a full on face than a heel/tweener. He comes across like a smug little jerk who if you like you like if you don't you don't, that should be that. When he panders it's :snoop: worthy

Undertaker is one of the GOAT gimmicks (if not GOAT) but he is not a top ten wrestler. Top ten big men of all time yea I could get behind that but top 10 wrestlers of all time :camby:, shyt I'd be hard pressed to put him in the top 15 or maybe even 20 to be honest. No order here just throwing names:

Bret Hart
HBK
Jericho
Angle
Benoit
Punk
DB
Rude
Flair
Perfect
Savage
Steamboat

I could go on and on...

He stood his ground and never let Vince, Titan or anyone else in the industry get over on him. If it cost him his job, oh well, he was gonna die on his feet as a man rather than crawl on his knees and compromise with Vince. He fought to have a labor Union in wrestling, something Hoegan snitched on him to Vince about, trying to get insurance for wrestlers because of how dangerous of a job it was/is but the rest of these cats just toe the line and stay in Vince's good favor. Jesse Ventura is a man, he don't cower to bullshyt like these wrestling legends who piss away their legacy, money, fame, dignity and pride just to eat at Vince's table. I'm not saying he's the only wrestler to stand up to Vince, but he's a man of principle and stands by it, hate it or love it. Hoegan's a hoe, Flair is pathetic, Bret is Marked out, Kliq are homos, Austin's a wife beating alcoholic, Dwayne's a flag waving c00n.......and none of these cats ever fought nor stood for anything except themselves in the wrestling business...Rick Rude is probably the only other legend I put in that category with Jesse.

Not a jab at you but that being dead gimmick is the ONLY reason to not put him in their ranks. When he wasn't stuck no selling and being a cartoon like character dude could work his ass off and talk. I love the deadman gimmick. It's legendary and enduring but the man himself could hold his own with anyone on your list as an in ring talent. He's not just "good for a big man" IMO dude was working his ass off during his big evil run for instance

I buy Alberto Del Rio in the ring as a credible threat.
this isnt unpopular tho. most give him credit as a worker, the consensus is that his character is poor, and he's overpushed .

Wouldn't take it as a jab, it's an opinion and your differs from mine. Those dudes could have great matches with ANYONE, Taker had great matches when he was in the ring with guys like that, he could never carry a match or an opponent. Look at all the stinkers he had at 'Mania, how many memorable feuds has he had? Like I said it's all opinions and that's why I look at mine as unpopular.
