I’m not saying he should but can see the potential.

I can see it. Unpopular opinion- the Reigns vs HHH match wasnt good, but HHHs last 3 Mania matches after that were very good

Wcw gets too much heat from wrestling fans because they didn't make stars or 'underutilized' talent.

People look at things from an introspective standpoint rather than look at what was actually going on during that specific time period.

1997 sting/nwo is hot like tamales

1998 goldberg/wolfpac is on fire

Bout time '99 came around they started elevating guys like benoit, steiner, Jarrett, etc.

They even threw Billy Kidman a bone.

Jericho, mysterio, malenko, eddie, benoit all got their fair slice of the pie.

They were making an effort to bring in the new guard of talent it's just that certain individuals had too much power getting in the way.

Bret hart was NOT underutilized. He was a disgruntled worker who was only in it for the money.

Imagine it's 1997/1998 WWF and they still had Hogan/Flair/Warrior/Savage/Sid on top and Bret/HBK/Hall/Nash were still at the IC level, with Austin/Rock/Foley/Goldust/HHH a rung below them.

Depends on what your definition is of "fair slice" given that of those 5 people you listed, only one had a world title opportunity (Benoit) and that only came about because a) Hart had to vacate the belt due to the concussion and b) as a desperation play to keep Benoit from leaving the company. To Russo's credit, he tried to utilize younger talent but the Millionaires Club/New Blood storyline wound up being a disaster.

It’s cause despite 99 still being grimy and having great crowds, it was the kick start of HHH’s ascent. It got to the point to where there was an ENTIRE Smackdown episode fully of nothing but HHH matches fall 99 was pure hell with him, but still not worse than him cosplaying Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen with Evolution

Only reason why it's relevant is because wwe purposely stacked up the roster with just about everybody worth anything to appease fox executives.

Nobody cares about tna. It's a godspend that any aew wrestler let along world champ is carrying any of their worthless belts.

I can watch PPVs 05 & before that and be entertained like it’s my first time watching.
