Lance Storm was fine but rarely entertaining. Dry ass technical guys have their spot in the industry, though. Not everyone can be wild ass entertainment characters, just like not everyone can be a hardcore brawler. You need a mix of everything even in promotions that skew heavy towards one style.

AEW owes a lot of their success to the untimely demise of Lucha Underground and to a lesser extent NWA Powerrr. Their roster would largely be trash if those promotions hadn't built stars for them.

Dusty dying has a lot to do with NXT’s gradual fall-off as well, once he was gone cracks began to slowly show.

great post :salute:

dusty was holding it all together :to: the fall off was gradual, but noticeable

my favorite era was the Zayn and Neville era, with dudes like Cesaro and Tyson going down there.

that Zayn/Nakamura match :whew:

I 100% agree with this. That's why Triple H getting the credit for NXT bothered me so much. All of those guys talk about Dusty's input for why they are who they are today. Now that NXT isn't as popping with the top tier Indy talent anymore, look how bad it's gotten with Triple H trying to build these "developmental" guys up compared to previous years. He was basically riding Dusty's work and the fact they had top tier talent in developmental that didn't need polishing with guys like Nakamura, Zayn, Owens, Pac, Ricochet, etc.

RAW actually has good content for the most part, but its just predictable and sometimes a hassle to make it to the end of the 3rd hour

The Brian Kendrick should've come out of the Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven 2008 as champion

Sean O'Haire was super underutilized and a victim of right place wrong time. If he's still in the biz he should go the AEW route.

Like most in here said deadman taker was cool but super overrated. I grew up with Biker/American Badass taker so thats the light I always see him in. I do love the aesthetic of goth Taker but i dont know much about that gimmick(if anyone wants to give me a intro that would be great)

New Day gimmick is super gay and i really dont understand how they got so over.

Although he had the look and the talent. I just cant see Test where HHH is today

- Goldberg is a Top 5 DOA wrestler

- A good spotfest is way more entertaining than a great psychology/working the leg for 30 minutes-type match

- Ultimo Dragon is the best technical wrestler of the 90's. And he still got a lot left in the tank during his 2003 comeback in the WWE.

- Most of the Mick Foley matches from the Attitude Era aged terribly, except for the obvious classics.

- I know the matches were atrocious, but I enjoyed the two Triple H - Scott Steiner matches a lot for all the fukkery.

- WCW Hogan and WWE 2002 Hogan was way more entertaining than 80's and early 90's WWF Hogan

- AJ Styles/Nakamura at Wrestle Kingdom 10 is grossly overrated

- Ishii, Shibata and Suzuki are/were the NJPW goats of the last 10/15 years.

- The Bar was the best tag team of this decade.

- Bret Hart matches are boring.

- The Brock Lesnar return, for the most part, has been great.
