Cabbage Patch
The Media scene in V is for Vendetta is the clue
Why? Cuz they'll focus on all the CAC Jews, and the nikka and Latin artists will be cameos?I'm definitely with this
A better story than str8 outta compton easy

Warren g saved the label, not redman.Well they gotta chronicle their down period too. That period right before 94/95 when they were kinda floundering. Outside of redman their roster wasn't doing much post mama said knock you out and ill communication

Saw no mention of warren at all in this threadI know that I'm saying he was the only one doing something post LL. he at least went gold. Warren G clearly shut everything down with regulate. I know the history breh
hip hop groups/label flix gonna be poppin up like roaches in Harlem
Yeah and Michael B Jordan isn't fat enough to play a 1980s Russell Rush. lolIsn't Jonah Hill too fat to play Rick Rubin?

where is this comic from?True
The only thing that bothers me about it, is that there was never a time when an NWA movie wouldn't have been a success - sure Dre getting Apple money frames it in a certain way, but the climate was always right - nikkas have always been getting fukked with by the White power structure and speaking out about it and people have always loved NWA. They could have done this years ago, but well - y'know
On a positive note -
If they're going to do the Def Jam joint - Michael B in this scene would be

And way too tall and muscular. He look like Michael Jai White Jr in the Creed trailer lol. I don't buy him as Russell.Yeah and Michael B Jordan isn't fat enough to play a 1980s Russell Rush. lol
More like on some cocaine shyt. lolMan his weight fluctuates on some weird shyt. He loses weight for roles and puts it on for others so I'm sure he can handle it
More like on some cocaine shyt. lol
I'd rather see the later def jam story or they need to just go three hours. At this point, it's just too much to dismiss by not including the late 90's/00's...but if russ/Rubin is the focus, I guess stopping mid 90's is fine...maybe.
I'm not trying to see a whole bunch of money grab, corporate controlled biopics come out. SOC (even with it's flawed storylines) was dope because of the artist involvement and the number of years put into getting it right....now they're gonna produce like 5 rap movies in the next 18 months and be mad when they flop
