Congrats with that degree and the experiences she’s about to get it will def help out on the long run idk how the army is based on officers but the Air Force is top heavy as in too many officers So you could get lost if you don’t try n show out

But female soldiers


She gotta work extra hard. At least she’s MI so it wont be too bad. Ive seen a a lot of black MI soldiers enlisted and officers especially Human Intelligence.

you know how we always say....The AF sends the officers to the fight...The Army sends their enlisted...Army Officers are viewed as generalist in their career fields never mastering anything.

This is few and far between especially amongst Combat Arms unless tankers or artillery.

But I was infantry and never had issues. I was around alot more hispanics than whites for some reason. Combat arms does have less blacks though (except the ones u listed and Cav scouts)

I was a Scout...It's not many of us that are black at all and I could only seem to get 1SG time in tank companies and HHT. I have always noticed FA and Tankers had more brothers in formation....I spent almost 4 years in 1-7 Cav and can literally name on my fingers every black 19D that was assigned there during that time.

I seen ALOT of black cav scouts...I knew a unit fulla black scouts with a black 1SG....maybe thats just where Ive been

Armor in general I seen has alot of blacks, FA too...Infantry not so much...alotta whites and mexicans...

But I was speaking on support units, logistics/supply, medical etc...

Dam , I had no idea all this time u was in the military.

you sure it wasn't a Combined Arms BN? Literally the only units i can think of where I saw more than a handful of Black scouts and I was never assigned there were all at Stewart.
