Boeing is definitely one of the most important companies in the worldYou mean Walmart? Boeing isn't even the Top 10, let alone Top 5. We would all be up shyt's creek if Walmart went out of business.
It’s a reason why the bailed out the car industry, and that probably applies to Boeing ten fold, they not going to let it failThe fact that multiple posters are in here defending the airline industry and how the US economy would fall without it.

It's that damn MCAS system they still haven't fixed. Boeing don't give a fukk.Another one?!!? jesus fukking christ
Who else makes planes?Thats not true...
Who else makes planes?
So you think it would be a good idea to abandon a American industry that not only employs several thousands but brings money to various cities across America, the same company that is apart of important military operationsAirbus???
edit:
Regional and other international airplane manufacturers
Bombardier, based in Canada, and Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, are leaders in the regional and business airplanes market. They both focus on smaller-sized jets.
On a global scale, competition with Boeing and Airbus is brutal. However, newer airline suppliers Comac in China, Mitsubishi in Japan, and UAC in Russia are working on a series of new wide-body jets in a joint venture. They hope to eventually become a legitimate competitor that can take on the dominance of Boeing and Airbus in the large-jet space.

I don’t like the idea of bail outs either but the gov shown time and time again they will fukk over citizensNah neither of those companies/industries needed to be bailed out. Bailouts are the antithesis to capitalism, if these companies truly failed the markets dictates a competitor would come in and serve the market.
Bailing out these hoe ass companies allows them to learn nothing from their mistakes, heavily taxes the common person, and transfers wealth to markets outside the reach of the average American. Never mind the facts that it doesn’t foster innovation and actively goes out of its way to minimize it. Both those industries worked to destroy American rail network and are blocking HSR legislation.
Fukk them no 45 min flight should cost $400
If not mentioned before, watch this now and it will show you how cheap lowdown and spineless this country is.

But regardless of that certain industries is way too important to just say fukk it and aerospace is one of em
