Who else makes planes?

Airbus???:ld:

edit:

Regional and other international airplane manufacturers

Bombardier, based in Canada, and Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, are leaders in the regional and business airplanes market. They both focus on smaller-sized jets.

On a global scale, competition with Boeing and Airbus is brutal. However, newer airline suppliers Comac in China, Mitsubishi in Japan, and UAC in Russia are working on a series of new wide-body jets in a joint venture. They hope to eventually become a legitimate competitor that can take on the dominance of Boeing and Airbus in the large-jet space.

So you think it would be a good idea to abandon a American industry that not only employs several thousands but brings money to various cities across America, the same company that is apart of important military operations

You abandoned them to buy planes from Russia or, China?

You want the Brit’s to be the only supply of planes America gets?

It’s a reason why the bailed out the car industry, and that probably applies to Boeing ten fold, they not going to let it fail

Nah neither of those companies/industries needed to be bailed out. Bailouts are the antithesis to capitalism, if these companies truly failed the markets dictates a competitor would come in and serve the market.

Bailing out these hoe ass companies allows them to learn nothing from their mistakes, heavily taxes the common person, and transfers wealth to markets outside the reach of the average American. Never mind the facts that it doesn’t foster innovation and actively goes out of its way to minimize it. Both those industries worked to destroy American rail network and are blocking HSR legislation.

Fukk them no 45 min flight should cost $400 :pacspit:

I don’t like the idea of bail outs either but the gov shown time and time again they will fukk over citizens

But regardless of that certain industries is way too important to just say fukk it and aerospace is one of em

Then they need to get the ATT treatment because too big to fail is a detriment to any country’s sovereignty.
