I'm the person who made this thread and I posted Simply Red. Songs like Bobby Caldwell and Lisa Stansfield played all thru the hood. I'm speaking on songs that nikkas fukked wit. Like u would go in someone crib and they would be singing along to the shyt but it's not shyt u would hear bumping in whips. Key word "unexpected". Linkin Park is a clear example of this.
