THis show is just fukking awful. I made the decision early on that I would stick it out through the entirety of this first season but I am not watching this shyt when it comes back on next summer.
I hate every character on the show and the writing is probably the dumbest on any TV show on right now.
And who the fukk builds a functioning gallows that perfectly in less than a few hours in the fukking dark?

You could write a whole book about the stupidity of the show, but the gallows were worthy of the GOAT smiley

I'm the same as you, I committed to finishing the season, but it was not a pleasant experience. I just thought there would be some closure. Then season 2 ruined all that but it was so close to the end there was no point in turning back then because I thought they might still wrap up this initial story and move on to something completely new.

Little did I expect that they would just lift a scene from the gawd Carl Sagan's Contact and continue on with this parade of idiocy, poor acting, and writing that looks to be just a bunch of people blindfolded throwing darts at an idea board.

Should have ended it with a 2 hour series finale last night. I doubt the second season will be as dope as the first.

I agree, I wish it woulda been a longer episode and just finished the series.
I'm a fan of 1 season shows and mini series.

It's not a great show but I definitely enjoyed it
I did wish it took a different direction
Instead of the whole egg shyt, I wish it was something like Russia did that to us
And it's an experiment to do it to the entire country
Or we did it to ourselves so we can see how it works and do it to china

What do you want answered that won't bring an end to the show?

They provided:

1. Dome is controlled by extraterrestrials/higher beings
2. Dome was sent for protection, not punishment

I'll give it another season knowing that Stephen King is writing episode 1 (season 2).
