I gotta say some of our fans on other forums and media are doing way too much when it comes to criticizing the kid Williams. Talking bout "he's got 2 strikes, one more mistake and we should cut him":what: Then today he gets a knee contusion so we sit him for precautionary measures and fans on twitter are talking bout "he's a bust!":snoop:

And in today's game every time Robert did something good the doofus announcer had something slick to say. I will say Robert made two rookie mistakes but it wasn't that bad. And it's up to him if he wants to succeed by working hard. Besides he's 4th on our depth chart.

As far as Marcus goes surely he can't be that dense when it comes to negotiations. We offered him a contract last year and he rejected it. Now as a RESTRICTED free agent, it's up to his agent to get him a contract from another team, and it's up to us to either match that contract or let him walk. This is the business breh.

I get the racist af vibes from the reddit board in regards to the C sub. Put aside the fact that they pretty much all corny as fukk. I really don’t understand everybody throwing in the towel on III the fukking kid hasn’t played a minute of professional basketball, fell in our laps *pause* fairly deep, and EVERYBODY knows he will have to play defense to get any burn on a Stevens squad. We are stacked with stellar young superstar potential players, a superstar at the 1, 2 star vets in Hayward and Al, a defensive specialist in Smart, a tough, emotional leader in Morris off the bench, a capable rim defender in Baynes. III is a potential game changer for NOTHING. We are stacked with picks. We could trade us a SUPERSTAR and still hold on to the meat of our team *pause* but if we do nothing, we still the favorites in the east. No matter what we do, we still in the drivers seat for the next 5-7 years

Renard Matthews' mother said her son, who died two weeks ago, was a big Kyrie Irving fan. But just how big of a fan was the New Orleans teen of the Boston Celtics star?

Renard's body was prepared in his No. 11 Boston Celtics uniform for his wake this past Sunday, surrounded by his favorite snacks and "playing" NBA2K, in which the Celtics were taking on the Golden State Warriors. He was also wearing Celtics socks.

Matthews was shot and killed two weeks ago. His funeral is Tuesday.

Irony in them complaining about Williams is that they love Smart, and that dumbass missed 6 weeks of action because he punched at glass when his sidepiece exposed him on IG. I'd say nothing Williams has done touches that :skip:

And even beyond Smart. Morris had to miss days in training camp going to court because him & his brother beat up some dude. Rozier is a blood. Don't get me wrong, Williams has made some silly mistakes to start his career and I know for some (a lot of) people first impressions are everything, but it's nothing that's so egregious that it's at the point of no return.

Exactly my stance on his entire situation.

His pre-rookie season stupidity doesn't rise to the level of Michael Beasley (when he was drafted by the Heat and got caught up for smoking blunts in a Summer League hotel room).

Welp....

A source described the condition as, "not too serious." It could, however, require a procedure if it were to degenerate down the line.

Popliteal artery entrapment syndrome (PAES), the vascular disease Williams has been dealing with, is found most often in athletes. Because of where the muscles and tendons around Williams' knee are positioned, they end up compressing the "popliteal artery," the main one behind the knee, restricting blood flow to the lower leg. It can lead to cramping and calf pain during exercise, per Johns Hopkins Medicine.

NBA teams, including the Celtics, were aware of Williams' condition at the time of the draft -- as was Texas A&M, where Williams went to college. The rookie has been playing with the condition for years, sources told MassLive. The L.A. Clippers' doctors performed his predraft physical and disseminated results to other organizations upon request, standard procedure for a prospect. The Celtics have also done their own physicals on Williams.
