Uncle Buck was a badboy film. :blessed:

I've fukked with White shows with worse premises than this so I'd definitely give it a shot.

The Great Outdoors was another John Candy flick we fukked with - Watched it again not too long ago - never realised before that Ackroyd was Polo down in it :leon:.

Went out to Canadian cottage country a couple of years ago for the first time and it reminded me of that movie so much.

Uncle Buck is one of the first movies I remember loving as a kid and sparked an eternal love for John Candy. They've already made a tv show of it once in the 90s (which I watched) and now of course they're going to the well again. What came out yesterday, is that it will be an all black cast:wow:

Now I firmly believe this is due to the success of Empire, Black Ish, How to Get Away with Murder and the continued success of Scandal so even if you're not a fan of those shows, as a black man or woman, it's time to be thankful for them because they're showing networks that we can move numbers just as much as our white counterparts, and in the case of Empire, crush those numbers.

:ohhh: He passed on Rush Hour?

John Hughes written Chris Columbus directed. John candy was uncle buck. It's the movie that inspired Chris Columbus to make home alone...also written by John Hughes
Juat looked it up. According to Wikipedia, Hughes Directed, Wrote, & Co-Produced it. I don't see Chris Columbus' name.

Ah my b. Yeah it inspired Hughes to write home alone but somehow Columbus ended up directing it. Someone on a podcast I listened to today got me thinking it was a Columbus movie. But yeah John Hughes classic. Culkin is in it as a young kid, John candy is hilarious and it still holds up

The infinite fukkery in 30 min or less :blessed:

& yes it's one of my favorite Candy role. Hilarious rich white family's situation movie made into a funny ass black family comedy. I am seeing it correctly that it's still going to be set in Illinois?

A Rush Hour pilot? :dahell: Who asked for a Rush Hour show? When's the last time a popular movie later made into a TV show actually worked?
