This is why I don’t get adaptions someone is like oh let’s adapt uncharted but let’s not really focus on the aspects of the game that fans of the game would care about !ets focus on the younger years which was part of one of the game and not the shady Indiana Jones part of his life . Then when this flops execs will be like you can’t make a good video game movie !Uncharted?? Might as well reboot Indiana Jones.

I think it's hard because the uncharted series is so well done especially part 4. The characters are very real. I would almost rather see an animated version of the movie like we see in the game. Anyone else playing drake or sully just wouldn't cut it for me especially Holland and fukk pratt dude is not the right choice either.

Pretty sure I said this before but they're thinking in franchise and longevity terms. With Holland also tied to the MCU for quite some time they'd be lucky to get a sequel popping in three years, and this one will probably not be out before 2021. So you're talking about maybe 2024 for the next one and he'll be in his late 20s then.
Plus it's not like Uncharted is famous for its brilliant stories. If they can capture Drake and Sully's humor and personalities and present some dope action they'll be fine.
