Are you fcking retarded?

So you're telling me that if you or anyone else were walking alone at night, and a strange man was following you home, if you called the police and told them this man was scaring you, and you think they may bring harm to your person, they would reply: "According to U.S. law you are allowed to be in public spots without question....please call us back when he assaults you."
i usually agree with you but not yere. the answer to your question is "yes". i could follow you around all day. you could follow me around all day.

LOL...so what laws were martin in violation of, which justified GZ calling the police on him? How do we define "acting suspiciously", and how do we apply that to the earlier hypothetical I laid out?

i don't know. i'm not an expert on the case. i was just answering your question. act as suspicious as you want. i can call the authorities, they can approach you and ask you some questions. that's the extent. thought crimes are not illegal, yet.

Lets use some common sense here....you cannot stalk, intimidate, harass or pose explicit, or implicit harm to ones person. You will be arrested. You initially said that you can follow someone around all day and night without repercussion. No you cant. You contradicted yourself anyway, by saying the cops wouldnt even bother responding to a complaint of someone following another, by saying "they would just ask a few questions"

if you accuse me of stalking and call the police what are they going to do to me without proof? they'll tell me to knock it off after asking a few questions. it is up to you to obtain a restraining order.

This is true.
And the reason is if cops arrested everyone someone claimed was doing something we'd see a lot of people getting arrested.

Next thing you know you're coming out of a gas station and some lady is there with a cop saying you've been following her.

Now there are times when the police SHOULD do somethign and they take it to lightly but it's hard as hell to determine exactly when to apply "common sense" as you say, vs applying "the law".

Hey, in Florida, isn't the justification for fighting/shooting/killing someone "reasonable fear"?

Is Zimmerman following Trayvon at night not reasonable fear, and thus, justification for Trayvon beating his ass? :troll:

According to U.S. law you are allowed to be in public spots without question. Which Zimmerman was. According to U.S. law you cannot violently confront an individual because you don't like that they're in a certain spot like Trayvon did. End of discussion.
Once again, proof that Trayvon initiated the confrontation?

Proof that Trayvon threw the first punch?

Proof that Trayvon approached Zimmerman, unprovoked verbally or physically?

Duke initially tried to claim that the cops wouldnt do anything, if someone called claiming they were being followed and harassed by someone, which is not true.

yeah they'd at least come out, it might not be right away and it depends on what area you live in. When i call the cops for "someone suspicious" they're on their game and are there in like 2-3 minutes. When I go to my grandmother's house in south Phoenix and you call in someone suspicious you're looking at a 10-20 minute wait. Unless a crime is in progress in some cases you do get fuked over.

When the cops do get there though, there's not much they can do outside of ask questions. Dude can walk wherever he wants :manny:

How the cops handle the legalities of the matter, depends on the particulars of the situation. The point I am once again trying to make is defeating this GZ narrative, that he was perfectly within his rights to follow Martin without question. This is not only false, but its absurd.
