A string of questions (some kind of stupid) does not a cogent conspiracy theory make. The only things that make me go "hmm" about this are the drills (which I haven't bothered to verify happened) and the two military guys that were assumed by internet detectives to be suspects.

Why are they stupid because you can't answer them?

The suspects were identified by news as well...this is why they were thinking Tea-Party/Right Wing Extremists.

Plus, there's a decent amount of crowd-sourced evidence & a relatively straightforward timeline of events. If you want to theorize about this, you'll actually have to...provide a theory.

:comeon: Crowd was extremely heavy...thousands of backpacks, a few dozen or more put theirs on the ground. There is no evidence of these brothers being near the place of what the police claim. The other men were right in the bomb site with pictures. Like the aunt said "Show me the evidence".

Okay....and?

2012 Boston Marathon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Okay and?

2012 Boston Race for the Cure anticipated 7000 people. 2012 Boston Marathon had damn near 4x as many runners.

Boston Marathon Facts

New York Race for the Cure was 21,000 walkers. Your point in people compared to actual problem situations with large crowds is a waste of time?

So the Boston Marathon is kind of a big deal.

:wtb: No one said it was...but it happens every year...why was it different this year is the question.

500k spectators + 25k runners would require a large amount of security, no?

That should be like that everywhere but not just security but medical staff. Why a marathon in Boston and only this year?

You ask why the Race for the Cure doesn't have much security, I provide evidence that the event in Boston is about 4x smaller and you go "okay and?"

How are we supposed to know why Boston? They just caught dude like 18 hours ago. Maybe because that's where they lived.

How are we supposed to know why this year and not last year or 5 years from now?

Why a marathon? :manny:

If you want to hurt a lot of people at a public event, the largest sporting event in the New England area with a bunch of media seems like a good place no? A Patriots game you can't get the bags in. The marathon no one sees anything wrong with people wearing bookbags.

People worked in the WTC every day, why 9/11/01. Politicians speak to constituents every day, why January 8? People go to the movies every day why July 20? Why Batman? You can play this game for every little thing that happens. I come to McDonalds like 3 times a week, why did they pick today to give me the wrong order that had a extra fry? :leostare:

The event is one of the biggest sporting events in the world. Of course they're gonna have a lot of security. No one gives a fukk about the amount of security until shyt goes wrong and conspiracy theorists start coming up with stuff.

Who says it was more than last year? Find something showing that there was an increase in the amount, not a few people going "It seemed like there was a lot of security. :ld:"

Of course it did, two bombs went off near the finish line, meaning all the security there, both obvious as hell and those blending in would rush to that area.

quick psa:

kingsmen's gonna piss and moan and play victim and call people trolls when they don't ride with him in this thread.

and the reason a lot of people aren't gonna ride with him is because this thread is bullshyt. it's him "asking questions" (aka passive aggressively suggesting something ominous about each detail) under the guise of being "open-minded", when in actuality, he came to a conclusion about what reallyhappened about 26 seconds after he heard of the bombing. now he's trying to piece things together to fit his conclusion, which i can only assume has something do with a secret government plot.

so if you have an answer to any of questions he posed, he's gonna fight you tooth and nail on it unless it works with his conspiracy theory.

you conspiracy theorist nikkas and make everything bigger than needed type nikkas (which is all of the internet and the media now) are the worst

why boston? really? thats like asking why the DC sniper shot up DMV area and the why the newtown shooting happened in newtown. its because the fukking suspects live there.

eye witnesses and primary accounts mean absolutely nothing when you are reporting them one by one in the media. most of them are bullshyt and inconsistent, they have to be piled up and analyzed over a cohort with generic statements by the media to make some sense and to have some cohesion.

get your logical reasoning together man

The official story thus far has many holes. I feel like some of this was to desensitize a "Police State" or "Martial Law". One positive thing that came out of this was the word "False Flag". Sadly people really think the government doesn't have a history of this when they have a LONG history of it in many different countries. Is this a False Flag? don't know but I never rule out anything espeically after they lied about Iraq and WMD. The brothers actions after the Bombings were odd. They stayed in Boston?, one of them went back to college like business as usual? I'm also skeptical about what the government knew about the older brother as now reports are they were warned about him YEARS ago. So once again just like 9/11, more questions than answers.

Being a New Yorker though this incident concerned me cause New York is already a defacto Police State and I could see that Boston ish happening here as NY has tons of huge events like the Thanksgiving Parade, New Year Eve Times Square and tons of marathons. If I go by the official story that they are pushing is they both dropped off back packs in the crowds. That can happen in NY. Overall I'm taking a wait and see approach but I'm laughing at dudes always quick to take the government story like the gospel. There's nothing wrong with being skeptical of a government that has committed so many crimes to push agenda's. It's funny that everytime someone doesn't agree with the government account they are called "Conspiracy Theorist" as a way to shield the government from critical analysis. So again we should just take what they say as the gospel? I wish more reporters and people didn't take the government's word as the gospel during the Irag War build up, might of saved lives. Instead most fell in line and believed that B.S. that has now been proven to be 100% false. So again what's wrong with questioning the government account?

There's a difference between asking good and logical questions and ridiculous conspiracy theory-ridden questions that have very simple answers. There is no smoking gun here, there has not been a single question asked by anyone that makes any sort of sense. Meanwhile, important questions, like what are the implications of this guy not being read his Miranda rights (not as serious as some think, but it's a legitimate question) are being tossed aside for this insidious nonsense. You mistake asking questions for the sake of asking questions with asking reasonable questions, and I saw you throw in the Iraq war example. The questions about that war were known at the time of the war, people just went against their judgment and didn't ask out of fear, but there were questions being raised by the UN and many people. This isn't first grade, there is such a thing as a stupid question.

:mindblown: conspiracy theorists think everything is a "false flag". it's the go to conspiracy

The word was put out on a national scale more now than ever before. People can now researched the history of it with information being more fluid in the technological age. I think that's positive cause some people seem to convince themselves that the government would never do anything shady like that.
