Why must you marry an agnostic?

People will disagree, but I am not religious. I am agnostic and believe that there may be a higher power or there may not. I believe that the man should be the head of the house and leader of the family because when shyt hit's the fan it's the man that goes to war, and protects the family. I don't believe in the idea that God is the first man in the house, and then my husband. I want a man that has a mind of his own and is not guided by religion. I can not stand church and stay away from most religious places of worship. I do not knock down others for their belief's, but I do not see myself marrying a religious man. I am Nigerian so, so I have no problem with a man being thankful for his ancestors, but I can not deal with a man that is religious. I just can not. MOST tend to be extreme hypocrites that live a different life from what they practice. I avoid women that frequently attend the church. Most are judgmental reformed hoes, lost single mothers looking for male guidance, and/pr women that do not know how to manage their money. I know a few young ladies that gave their paycheck to the church...yeah not happening to me. Even if I did become religious tomorrow I would not become a Christian.

You've lost as a community when you expect a YouTube politician to raise your children for you.
Again...no other group of people would of accepted this. Especially to get to this point.

It has everything to do with realistic expectations.
Honestly I don't think he's a fraud... I think he's just in over his head...hes not capable of doing the things he wants to do
Nothing is truly black or white...the grey area in between has to be recognized.

This is probably it. Dude ain't what he projects himself as. He just another breh no different than you or me he has his pluses he has his minuses he has an interest in something...that got an audience. He's not the infallible pan africanist he claims to be.

There's really no need for me to criticize another black person cause at the end of the day, they still black and are capable of changed and should be given the benefit of the doubt and the chance to prove themselves in any capacity like anybody else. But you can't be everything to everyone. And you can only really work with what's available to you. They say the posiblities of anything in this life are endless...but it makes sense to realize absolutely what is capable within your reach and what is not.

I'd like to open up a theme park. But I realize I probably never may make that much money in my life to open one and it wouldn't be that easy. So maybe I should let it go. Not saying a school is comparable to a theme park, but both deal with children to teens in their capacity. I just have to suck it up and realize it ain't gonna happen and move on.

It's probably best to say you went about it wrong and respectfully give up and/or come back with the idea when there are actually concrete plans to make it happen and thecapital to get it off the ground correctly to entice investors into taking interest in it.

As usual, Dr. Watkins keeps it a buck

this

I don't think dude is a fraud, I think he's in over his head, he dropped too much knowledge to really be considered a fraud, if people really listen to his words, they'll understand things a little bit better, frauds usually don't let out the cat like that, they tell you a little to keep you coming bank and disappear.

I feel you but....

Religion doesn't revolve around Christianity. .... your issue seems to be with that European religion and the way blacks in amerikka follow and practice it.

I agree the man should be the protection and head of the home, so you cool there.

But I'm pretty sure 98% of the great strong men in history, who lead women , children and nations, who had a mind of their own, who were respectable and who still are spoken about today....... where not athiest or agnostic.

Also, maybe there is not a higher power, but shouldn't logic tell you that random animate matter couldn't have created all the life, intelligence, and consciousness that we are and we experience? ? With all the study and research and discovering. ... we've have no evidence of that. We have endless evidence that life and consciousness comes from the life and consciousness.

Ntm, the vast majority of men with the means to support a family wouldn't marry an athiest.

You can definitely open a theme park even if you do not have the resources right now, but you must have the will, and if there is a will there is a way. You would probably have to start really small and see how you do at managing projects. You can start off by creating a small haunted house during Halloween, or try volunteering with an organization that does community projects. I am the Vice President of a small organization at my college campus. We are doing a small project that consist of opening a hygiene closet for students on campus who do not have the money to get hygiene products. It's a small project but it will benefit others and allows one to see how much they enjoy managing large projects. One should always start small.

To each it's own...It's not just with Christianity. I am not religious, nor do I look up to any deity or supernatural human being. I also do not worry myself about figuring out whether or not a higher power exist - that's why I call myself agnostic. I also think that we as humans think VERY VERY high of ourselves. People speak about the ebauty of Earth but roaches, earthquakes that Kill people, Tornadoes that kill people, and etc are not beautiful at all. I'm just saying. Maybe there is a higher being or maybe there is not. I do not worry about that, and I prefer men that are not religious because raising children will cause a conflict when two people have different but strong religious belief's. The husband may say pray for the best, and I will say well you should hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Now out of curiosity what do you mean by, "Ntm, the vast majority of men with the means to support a family wouldn't marry an atheist". I have my opinion on it, but I want to see where you are coming from so that I am not assuming anything.

Hmm, other communities...
When was the last time any community's think tanks/ interest based organization's primary funding was from the black community? Unfortunately, the reverse could be proven

When have Asian communities ensured that all business store fronts display english letters so that black folks could support it?

Zimmerman and the white police offers raised a shyt load of money despite killing black men...when have the black community raised shyt load of money for its own, when white folks were strongly against it?

when have the so-called white Jewish community requested permission by the black community to build institutions that only caters to Jews in a mixed neighborhood?

The point is, other communities have luxuries and mind states that not enough black folks have. We can't give props to other communities for what they are doing, but then make excuses why we can't follow that blue print

We are living in a time that provides multiple ways of raising money, multiple ways of donating, and multiple ways of sharing your message

The critique by Dr. Watkins and what you bring up are reasonable because of how you both are maintaining perspective on the situation and of what he has already done

It's not about ignoring any faults that Umar has commited, it's just that constructive criticism does not involve erasing/ignoring/undermining the past and current effort of an individual because of what you have problems with

You seem to be confused.

Most athiest men and agnostic men aren't more aware or prepared or better men than any spiritual or religious men, lol:mjlol:

The majority of men who prepared for the worst..... and the majority of black men who educate or masses on tech , finance, self defense, etc..... aren't agnostic or athiest.

You may be confused on what standards are associated with strong quality men:francis:

That's a price to pay when your dealing with "intelligent" people, they don't offer money, they give time, it's up to you whether to consider his/ time worth it.

Like I stated, outside of the asking for 5 mil and bashing black folks for only giving 25 dollars, he's done more than enough just by opening his mouth, his actions may be a bit immature but his words are on point, honestly, he's dropped enough knowledge to really get people to change, it's up to the people who want to change.

And to be real blunt, he has a point, people spend more on bullshyt fast food than they probably spent on helping dude get his school, he probably has a right to feel he's not getting enough support.

10 years ago, show me the piff that's all over here for free now, dude put in work.

being smart is a major benefit within itself, people will follow your lead regardless.
