In the places he said he was looking (Detroit, Georgia) i know for a fact closed up schools with acres of land are going for $200k, maybe even slightly less. It would take a lot of work to get them up to code, but he could’ve easily got the property or the land.
But as far as getting it up and running, you’re absolutey right it would’ve been impossible just on the money he raised. That’s why I never believed he was going full throttle on it because there was no board or official non-profit. The majority of school money comes from grants and aid and he didn’t seem to look for any of that
And no matter how private a school is, it still has to be accredited, and it’s curriculum locally accepted. Surely someone who worked in a charter school for years and as a principal for year knows this. Scam.
