In the places he said he was looking (Detroit, Georgia) i know for a fact closed up schools with acres of land are going for $200k, maybe even slightly less. It would take a lot of work to get them up to code, but he could’ve easily got the property or the land.

But as far as getting it up and running, you’re absolutey right it would’ve been impossible just on the money he raised. That’s why I never believed he was going full throttle on it because there was no board or official non-profit. The majority of school money comes from grants and aid and he didn’t seem to look for any of that

And no matter how private a school is, it still has to be accredited, and it’s curriculum locally accepted. Surely someone who worked in a charter school for years and as a principal for year knows this. Scam.

The private practice thing is already settled and proven. Umar is going solicit you for donations to pay his fines next. An academy, especially one of the scope of FDMG academy, is a collaborative effort of many qualified professionals. Name one that Umar has presented outside of himself.

Of course not. But if you want to actually accomplish something like opening a boarding school, having a visible board with visible plans is literally step 1. If this was in any type of advanced stage, why hasn’t anyone come out saying they’ve either been on the board or have seen the plans. And you pretty much need a board for a 501c3. You can try and apply without one but the chances of getting the status is slim to none.

He’s admitted himself to having raised over $400k. Even with Go Fund Me’s cut removed, it’s enough to purchase a property. The way he’s handled the situation is indefensible. Point blank period.
