I've been to both, and London is the considerably more liveable city. That being said all of these major cities in all leading economies around the world are garbage. New York is the used up coffee beans, London is last night's food, Paris is the mouldy loaf of bread, Tokyo is the used female hygiene product. They all belong in the bin together and it's only a matter of degrees by which one item in the bin is less objectionable than the other
Large towns/small cities are the way to go. Places with no more than 750,000 population or so. In them we find many of the conveniences of the major urban centres but with few of the inconveniences and hardships that come with living in the big cities
