The people that started UK drill (Stickz, Mdargg & Grizzy) were influenced by NLMB and Gherbo music. You can hear it in a lot of their music from 2013 - 2015. Their gang is even called 150 and used to go by roc block at one point. So basically UK drill was influenced by Chicago drill and then New York drill was influenced by UK drill.

UK drill rap is cringe. Get a job.

sounds great.
Fivio is older than him and American.
The whole "UK caribbean" and the "caribbean" music scene in general has always been influenced by (and adjusts to) ADOS music trends.
There was no such thing as drill in England until Chicago did it.
There was no such thing as Garage until Larry Levan started spinning at the Paradise Garage in NYC.
Jon E Cash admits his early grime offerings were inspired by thing he heard in mid 90s Orlando hood clubs.
Most of the early UK drill producers were initially DJ L clones.
They still use Chicago slang. This whole history, including Jamaica constantly copying US music, is documented.

Nice history lesson but that has nothing to do with this topic.

Them Canarsie nikkas sharked the London brehs whole shyt and there’s no disputing it.

At all.

London drill has its own unique, distinct sound, completely different from the sound of Chicago drill rap and that’s what Brooklyn nikkas stole.

“Brooklyn keeps on takin it”

You’ll get that reference since we giving out history lessons this morning.

:ld: Can you call it stealing when they actively sought out these UK producers to work with?

That's not the kind of American influence I would want to have anyway. That drill stuff (nothing good about that type of music or culture no matter where it originates) should not be worn like a badge of honor. Secondly, I know these two are children of West African immigrants (Ghanaian and Nigerian). Family probably moved to the UK so that they can have a better life instead they choose to engage in this type of behavior. A lot of these dudes whose family literally worked extremely hard for them and sacrificed stay yet wasting their parents' efforts.
