Probably time for a new center left party. Keep BAME Keep Middle England Keep Scotland/Wales. There's your three goals.
No... there really isn't.
Labour has been in power for 30 years out of the last 120 years and due to FPTP we really cannot afford to have the vote split any further. Tory voters will happily vote in corrupt, incompetent MPs as long as they achieve their single issue. But we do need to show we won't vote Labour just because the Tories are awful. We vote for a vision.
If anything a large issue is that Labour is trying to put people into boxes and straddle the center ground... but it no longer exists. We're in an era fraught with culture wars, populism and above all voters who don't want business as usual.
If both parties fail to understand this then the Tories have an overwhelming advantage, because they're realistically the only center right party so the don't need to share their votes with anyone other than say the lib dems. Not to mention a lot of their vote is condensed in Southern England.

Rayner is the elected deputy leader so she can't be dismissed from that role. The next 3 years are going to be very awkward.
This is an abidcation of responsibility and comes across as weak.

So how long is Starmer gonna last
Long enough to destroy the party.
To be honest I get the impression no one really wants the job.
Don't know could be September, could be Christmas, could be when he loses in May 2024.
But the political will to remove him is at it's height so if it doesn't happen now there will be a very long wait. He's firing everyone in the shadow cabinet to make space for the right wing MPs. Thus he faces no chance of a vote of no confidence.
The real problem is the lack of talent, there are no natural party leader choices apart from say Clive Lewis or Burnham.
