Looks like a massacre. More electable they said. 20 points ahead they said.

What an absolute joke.

It's so ridiculous but it's happening, the media are somehow making the argument labour lost Hartlepool because of the stench of Corbyn while Corbyn actually leading the party resulted in holding Hartlepool twice.

kier starmer as leader just shows how out of touch these people are.

the man has less charm, charisma and empathy with the average man than a plank of wood.

he is like some sort of badly crafted beta AI simulacrum of a human.

If the Tories were able pick a plant I don't think they would be able to do better than Starmer.

Just pathetic.

Climate change is important, but the ULEZ extension is not popular at all. Add the disillusionment with Labour leadership into the mix and this is what you get.

They can't blame this on Corbyn. Corbyn at least got your attention.

Labour needs a populist. They should try a charismatic breh who understand the issues troubling normal people.

The time for a total re-modelling of UK society is afoot.

The current Labour party and Keir Starmer are completely redundant. Over a year in power and no fukker knows what they stand for. And nor do they either by the looks of it.

Piss funny watching them trying to blame Corbyn for a mess entirely of their own making.

They need to elect someone with a pulse as a leader sharpish or you can say bye to the next election too

Labour is done :picard:

Right now it's 39% to 37% before second round votes.

Live Mayoral results | London Elects

But if Starmer loses London, we have a terminal case on our hands. If he doesn't resign he will face a leadership challenge.

That bullshyt coup justification about the brexit vote is nothing compared to losing actual power and our flagship promotor of what Labour looks like in power.

I honestly can't see a Labour majority until at least 2032 if we lose London.

Corbyn offered a vision, and we saw a bit of the electoral potential of having a real vision in 2017. The 2019 debacle was the result of years of character assassination in the media along with the impossibility of holding together a coalition of leave and remain voters.

Starmer offers nothing.

The Conservatives inflicted a historic byelection defeat on Labour and regained the Tees Valley mayoralty by a landslide as Keir Starmer conceded his party had lost the trust of working people across England.

The Labour leader, who called Friday’s local election results “bitterly disappointing”, is considering moving his party’s headquarters out of London to reflect Labour’s determination to show that it represents the whole country, party sources told the Guardian.

He is also expected to reshuffle his top team and launch an across-the-board review of the party’s policies.

Yeah brehs, he's an agent.

The utter stupidity on display....I am done with Labour.

London elections 2021 - BBC News

Tories : 154K votes 47.7%
Labour: 95,858 votes 29.6%

Going off the 2016 turnout there's still around 2 million votes to account for and the places that have been accounted for are Tory hotspots like Central London Harrow and south London.
