It's gonna take a longgg time before EV's are fully realized. Charging stations would have to outnumber gas stations damn near to start. It does suck that we have to play with the Saudi's re: oil, but what else can be done?

EV's arent the answer either.
with more alarming news that EV's arent even that much healthier for the environment (batteries) and that the power grid is already struggling with the few EVs out there AND that people are now learning that companies like Tesla charge more during prime hours which makes people paranoid that itll just be right to current gas prices (so you arent even saving money), im not positive EV's make it the dominant driving force in the 10 years America is planning around.

We have about 2-3k there including defense contractors. The remaining equipment I believe will stay in Saudi hands but the maintenance of this equipment isn’t possible nor the inoperability. They don’t have the techs nor IP’s to successfully continue thaad systems, Patriot missile defense systems etc. China has been providing a decent amount of UAV support and systems to them.
Again Saudi’s aren’t dumb, so you have to ask yourself why they would do this?
They’ve struck a deal with someone in the region or China/Russia to provide security services for them.
