Even though I don't respect the way Alvarez won that record just brings a to my face. They were already calling this guy the new breed of mma stopping short of saying we were entering the Pettis era knowing fully well he had already lost to guida and before he had even defended his title once. It was all a bit weird and I am guessing a lot of it had to do with his look.Pettis is 5-3 in the UFC now
Yeah that's Nate's record give or take an L or WEven though I don't respect the way Alvarez won that record just brings a to my face. Ps correct me if I am wrong but ain't nate 18-10 or something? These dudes that get talked up have pretty records
Barao might be finished, gotta see how he looks in his next fight. Faber needs to go away already, not sure how Dodsons little ass is gonna do up thereYou take the best 10 bantamweights right now and it might be the strongest division in the UFC at this point.
You have Cruz, Dillashaw, Renan Barao, Faber, Aljamain Sterling, John Dodson moving up, undefeated Thomas Almeida who is a young killer, Michael McDonald, andRaphael Assuncao. Thats alot of great fights in the next 2-3 years.
Also, Alvarez didnt earn a title shot off of that performance. He won, but not convincing. He also showed he wants NO parts of Khabib in his post fight interview.
I know I wasn't the only one thinking, "SMFH is Cecil Peoples back judging again?"Who da fukk had it 4-1 for TJ?
As per usual your view of reality is skewed. While it wasn't my kind of fight under the unified rules cruz won easily. He scored like 4-5 TDs to Dillashaws 1? While he didn't do much those moves score well.If you tally the output of strikes he connected as well more whilst TJ missed regularly. The only thing I can say is TJ had octagon control though maybe that was by design cuz he played into Cruz's handsTJ won that fight, if he didn't have scar tissue he wouldn't even had bled he landed the more significant strikes those UFC stats are some bs

Because you like most MMA fans don't know shyt about fighting, my reality is skewed but I'm always right
I was right about weidman losing, I was right about Aldo being KO'd by Mcgregor, and I'm right about this
those TD's shouldn't even count, they were barely take downs, and TJ should get points for escaping and reversing into a dominate position
TJ blocked most of Cruz shots, his got some solid defense most MMA fighters don't have, Cruz missed a lot to, TJ landed more significant strikes and hurt Cruz
had him tired, he punished him with leg kicks, Cruz was limping after the fight, he took the most damage,
mma judges are fukking blind and have no clue about fighting just like the fans, sport is a joke

Cruz still clowning that whining, crybaby midget in the presser
At the end I thought the fight could go either way. TJ had opportunities he just refused to capitalize on them. Those leg kicks were working, had that been Aldo he would've lit Cruz's leg up until he couldn't walk for a few weeks.I usually don't agree with this guy but this is truth. Watched the fight again. TJ landed the harder shots the whole fight. He clearly won the 4 and 5th. And tally up strikes he should have won the first also. Cruz is the quintessential point fighter in that he knows what the judges like to see. And it didn't help that Rogan was basically ignoring any offense TJ managed to land while enamored by Cruz footwork. IDK how TJ trains but he needs to chill. Hes under 30 and already has fukked up anatomy. I saw the embedded and he had black eyes and bruises everywhere.
Cruz ended up landing more significant strikes while at a significantly higher percentage, and tj only landed like 9 more strikes while landing like 10% less than cruz. Cruz was limping cause of a foot injury not because of the leg kicks.Because you like most MMA fans don't know shyt about fighting, my reality is skewed but I'm always right
