yeah i can see that. personally i've always liked watching him cuz he's so unusual. but like the other dude said, if he had power, he'd be a lot more entertaining, especially for the more casual fans. but calling him a disaster as 135 champ is silly...his storyline alone gets him points.

and now cruz is tired and has a bad leg...tj's finding him... :jbhmm:

I don't care about the power. No one really has that at those lower classes except John Lineker. Its just the uber defensive style. Dart in, hit a hook, dart out. Schuffle. Dart in. Hit. out. Reset. I'm not a fan of that. I'm not a fan of low output fighters.

RD 1 was the deciding factor in this. (as far as the first sane judge went)

I'd say it'd be pretty hard to hit with power with style like that. He never sets his feet so, anybody who fights like that will have power issues:yeshrug:

Whatever you feel about the fight Cruz came back from being out damn near four years, went five rounds with the champ and won. You gotta respect that :salute:

i'm saying...that was some incredible shyt.

tj dillashaw is a guy that murked who was considered one of the top p4p fighters in the world, twice...earning the strap and looking like an unstoppable force at his weightclass.

and then here comes a dude that had how many acl surgeries? both his knees got fukked up...plus a groin tear? a former champ who's had 1 fight since 2011 and has watched the mma game progress from the sidelines? then he, of all people, comes back and beats the guy who's a tier above everyone else in his division? come on...that's pretty fukking epic.

i mean, even if you scored it different and gave tj the win...what cruz did was amazing. that type of comeback, from those types of injuries, against that level of competition...wow.
