Because you like most MMA fans don't know shyt about fighting, my reality is skewed but I'm always right

I was right about weidman losing, I was right about Aldo being KO'd by Mcgregor, and I'm right about this

those TD's shouldn't even count, they were barely take downs, and TJ should get points for escaping and reversing into a dominate position

TJ blocked most of Cruz shots, his got some solid defense most MMA fighters don't have, Cruz missed a lot to, TJ landed more significant strikes and hurt Cruz
had him tired, he punished him with leg kicks, Cruz was limping after the fight, he took the most damage,

mma judges are fukking blind and have no clue about fighting just like the fans, sport is a joke
Yeah that was dillashaw not the fact he hasn't had a legit fight in 4 years catching up with him :skip:

Even though I don't respect the way Alvarez won that record just brings a:smugfavre: to my face. They were already calling this guy the new breed of mma stopping short of saying we were entering the Pettis era knowing fully well he had already lost to guida and before he had even defended his title once. It was all a bit weird and I am guessing a lot of it had to do with his look.

You should be given props for that too because even when Pettis was the champ I remember you saying more than once that he likely would be Guida'd again eventually.

I wonder if he can make 145 without too much strain because he's got a tough route back at 155 now that the blueprint to beat him is laid out in plain sight

He probably can but will his power and cardio go away with that? And there are pressure fighters and wrestlers there too. Whos to say he won't have trouble against Mendes or Lamas? He just needs some boxing and footwork. Look how Cruz was able to escape against the cage numerous time last night. Hell even Trinanaldo did it. Pettis just goes straight back and gets stuck. Nice quick pivots and good jabs will stop that. Pettis needs to hit up Tri star and work with GSP

He could use a fresh start which is why I brought up 145, of course changing divisions won't plug that glaring hole in his grappling. He does need to go train with some killers to get used to being mugged/pressed like a GSP or AKA

it would vault him further than he currently stands at 155 to drop if he can healthily

Has anybody seen or heard from Pettis since? I noticed he was conspicuously absent from the post-fight press conference.

There was an article where he was said to be requesting to get back in the octagon asap with "a real fight".

Pettis is weak, but judges shouldn't be giving fights to people who just pin you down and do nothing...

Alvarez just laid on top of Pettis for stretches on the fight...

In my opinion, take downs should NOT be scored...Only strikes should be scored, and who ever wins the last round, should win the fight...

"had him tired" :mjlol:

who would have thought that fighting 5 5 minute rounds at a high pace would make a human being tired. dillashaw "had him tired" yet cruz had dillashaw fukked up with a swollen face.

In addition Dillashaw slowed down himself and looked just as tired.
