picked apart is a bit much lol

biggest thing alex had going for him was the power advantage and the calf kicks. his gameplan was looking solid til he went brain dead trying to rush things

a clinch instead of that hands down chin up stuff changes everything

Facts.

What's crazy is that he got caught rushing a finish when he didn't need to. Basic ass shyt most fighters get trained out of them early on. :dead:

He just didn't respect izzys power that's all...Poatan made a classic error beacsue he has already beaten this man 3 times, he thought he could always beat him....but izzy hit the counter, Congratulations.....I'm still a Poatan dude 🤣🤣but izzy had to win

I did and even if you remove it Poatan is still izzy biggest challenge, man beat him in 2 different sports, can't take that away from Poatan....that dude will be champ again soon, he probably moving up to light heavyweight....his kickboxing is too elite, he will be champ there

Saltines showin they ass in here. I don't believe in that possum shyt, but he did have a plan when he was backed up against the cage, and he had to prove the haters wrong because they were saying Alex had some unbelievable power and he just wouldn't be able to take those shots while up against the cage....Well, he took those shots and fired back, he didn't crumble under the power or take soo much pain that he was unable to continue fighting.

I thought izzy was getting picked apart and was gonna get caught.

Alex fukked up. lol

His corner gave him the correct strategy and he’d been flawless with the execution: Izzy’s legs were at 15% health bar… which is why he had to resort to the shell.

We see it in boxing all the time where a fighter shells up against the ropes but his opponent is too savvy to just rush in blind.

Alex was not savvy :pachaha:

I don't think Pereira is hung up on Izzy like that. He already did what Izzy said he couldn't do. He probably moves up to 205. Dude cuts mad weight.
Yep....he will be champ there too, his kickboxing is waay too much, he just needs a bit of ground then its over for his opponents there
