205 was not trash when jon was 23 so knock that way the fukk off. that was when the pride boys were RUNNING the fukk out of the UFC. case in point ....Silva.

nikka stop that shyt. Pride came in and americans were shook. then jon came in and made them all look like amateurs during a time when they were making all these americans look like suckas. Jon makes the division look wack cause hes just that far ahead. nikka shogun pride prime was a killer and jon made him tap from strikes...AT fukkING 23 YEARS OLD. watch the fight and listen to Joe's comment "I think we're seeing a new era and something special ladies and gentlemen" rampage, machida, shogun, vitor, hendo, rashad, glover, gus, dc, etc Khabib does not have that kind of resume. Jon is considered old and the new wolves cant over throw him the way he did the pride lions when he was younger than them. that nikka Jon is kobe. scandals, championships and all. :childplease:
Hard to gauge this cause the Pride-era legends were all in the end of their primes fighting Jon. 155 has been a shark tank of prime fighters for Khabib's whole career. Whats worse is the new talent in 205 never really came around once Jon cleaned out the older guys

Shogun had a shyt ton of injuries in the leadup, never really got healthy again

Rampage washed out

Rashad was washed

Hendo was well into his 40s

Vitor had to fight him without TRT powers

Machida still had it, just got beat.

Chael was beyond washed

Legend. Too bad the Ferguson fight never happened in their prime's, probably would've added to his resume. Injuries and weight cuts hurt his early career.

You can hate Conor all you want but that's a great win on anyone's record. Poirier, Gaethje, and prime Dos Anjos are good but mostly it's how badly he beat them all.

and both are fukking roiders..

9 of Anderson's title fights were against guys who tested positive for roids while he was still champion

Jones was cleared by USADA

Anderson only took roids to help recover from his snapped leg when he was almost 40

they give you medicine you take to recover from injuries like that have steroids in them

just like asthma medicine

also There's plenty of champions who've done way more than khabib, he got less title defenses than Tyron Woodley
who has 4, even though first wonderboy fight was a draw it was a still a defense because he didn't lose it

You dudes talking about Jon was beating washed middle weights must be noob as the fukk! I been watching bones since his first fight with stephen bonnor. He beat those dudes at they prime NONE of them were washed. Bones was 22/23 at the time. The 205 division was the deepest through those years. On top of he's beating whatever up and coming fighter was there. He has 11 title defenses put that shyt into perspective. Everyone studies film and break down everything about the champ of the division all the guys coming for him. To defend it 11 times with that size target on your back??? And if you want to go title defense for titles defense the same number times khabib defended Jon looked just as dominant If not more than khabib in the same span. On top of DC>>>>>>>>>>>ANYBODY khabib has fought and Jon dominated him TWICE. You in the moment folks gotta stop the dumb shyt.

Rashad was washed bruh. Dude was dealing with a fukkton of knee injuries by the time the Bones fight happened. His explosiveness never returned. I dont wanna take anything from Jones but we're not going to act like all of the pride dudes weren't in the tail end of their careers.

But since yall fanboys wanna call people casuals, here is the truth straight from the horse's mouth

"I know where he's hurt," Jones told the Los Angeles Times. "He's getting older. He has a hurt rib, a hurt left hand and a terrible left knee. It's not a wrestling match. He takes me down, and there's still work to do. I've wrestled since I was 14 and have a tremendous amount of pride in my wrestling."
Rashad has a dodgy knee - Jones

I mean the whole reason Jones got the title shot in the first place was because of a Rashad knee injury but go head with the revisionism

First off 205 was never premiere. That’s always been WW and LW. 205 was basically Chuck, Tito, and Randy. Before Pride you couldn’t name anyone else than. And like others said by the time those guys came to the UFC and Jones fought them they were washed. I’m sorry as good as Jones is Khabib did it against way better comp and with far less of a skill set than him

Chael was beyond washed

He never fought Henderson and Chael wasn’t far from his prime but this is otherwise all very true.
