Other than Gus, which bigger fighters did he struggle with? He ran through Bonnar, Vera and O’Brien. Sure they’re lower level fighters but size didn't seem to have helped them at all. He struggled with Santos (MW) and Reyes more than anyone else, and to be honest I think that’s due to USADA.

Stipe’s boxing is the thing I imagine being a problem for him.

Gus sent him to the hospital, a lot of people think Reyes won, he didn’t look impressive at all against OSP, Santos nearly has HW reach with his arms & legs and that gave Jones fits.

Add DC along with romero to athletes that I ask what if they started mma at an earlier age (though DC accomplished a lot as it is). As the sport grows maybe we'll see more olympic athletes go in earlier

Santos is significantly smaller than Jones. That really can’t be debated. Jones went to the hospital for his leg, but in any case him and Reyes are the only bigger fighters who he truly struggled with and he beat Gus soundly in the rematch.

DC fought better here than the last match up at least you could see he was going for the takedown and tight clinches whereas last time he was trying to outbox a better striker from range

Stipe's conditioning was excellent he was in great shape DC looked a little gassed after that knockdown.

Great series

DC's age has caught up with him he would still beat the breaks off most contenders though
