Looking back on most the fights Ronda won so quickly, you have wonder if that kind of hurt her in the process as really didn't face much adversity. She really wasn't tested. Battle hardened to whereas she could withstand punishment if need be.
Sans Sara mcmann ans bethe it's basically just been Judo throw armbar, sometimes in that order. Only person that took her to the limit outside of tate was the Faber looking butch that can't get out of the prelims. Those tate fights were the only real showcase of what fighter she was, gave ppl a false sense. For all the heart tate had she was never highly skilled or particularly strong at anything didn't help that Ronda just had her number psychologically and competitively

I like that Amanda has the belt but I am not sure she can even beat the likes of a Pena :scust:

The Fertittas (who were the majority owners) sold their shares, but Dana's position hasn't changed.
If his position hasn't changed what was the 340 million for?he sold his 9% and is basically just a general manger now why else do you think he keeps looking like a fool with conor and Ronda (that sort of shyt never happens with Zuffa) someone else has autonomy, his money is not on the line anymore..However he and the fertittas still make something off of UFC I just don't remember the particulars

I think Holm blew her confidence... but the fact she was eating some shots from Miesha... who isn't a slouch on her feet makes me wonder if it was just a mental edge.

but the one year and plus should have got her some back, especially with training, sparring and well prepared mental excercises..
i guess not.

I wonder if Holm wins the 145lb belt, will Nunes move up to fight Holm or will Holm move down to fight Nunes?:jbhmm:
The proposed 145 division was made for one of 2 reasons to get cyborg in the UFC or to fast track the Holm vs lousey rematch at 135 if both fighters won their respective fights neither of which is happening. I don't think anyone cares about the 145 division right now. Nunes still has work to do at 135 anyway even if it's only against TUF alums

Either way, it seems like Cyborg can easily take the 135 or 145. No real threat to her right now. Maybe Holm due to her superior striking skills. I'm real intrigued about the potential match-up between Holm and Cyborg.

You keep mentioning cyborg like she's still in play? She took a diuretic and is a repeat offender think it's safe to say she's going to be gone a long time. Wouldn't be wild to assume her career might be over. And for argument sake if she had to kill her self to make 145 how was she ever going to make 135 lbs? Are you not aware of her weight cutting struggles?

Damn.....Rogan didnt even give goldie a sendoff :francis:
I didn't watch the broadcast but if it wasn't talked about and Rogan didn't say anything then it's definitely not an amicable split. I just can't decide if he got fired or if he quit. The way Dana side stepped the question at the scrum leads me to believe the former but why? He's been phoning it in been for years and most ppl knew nothing of an alleged drug problem.
Will never forget how during one of the most pivotal moments in UFC history (let alone female MMA history) as Ronda was getting repeatedly tagged and lookin on queer street he utters "it takes a lot of energy to be a rockstar" :snoop:

Who isn't a slouch on her feet, Miesha? Miesha is straight garbage striking/standup.

Miesha has terrible hands in comparison to holms and nunes

Miesha isn't on par with Holmes or Nunez but let's not act like she doesn't have hands better than everyone else in that division her hands aren't that suspect. Plus if I remember correctly she has tagged Ronda a few times but didn't really phase her.

:manny: all in all Ronda lost I'm happy with the outcome because I knew it would happen

You are outta your mind, Meisha's standup is shyt, Pennington was boxing her up in that last fight and Pennington isn't even really good. Ronda has always been hittable, she has to get right up next to fighters in an upright position in order to get the clinch. The only difference is the last two fights she's faced fighters who can actually throw a punch in a straight line to back her ass up and then actually work angles to avoid the clinch.
