Even my kids in the gym know if you're going to lunge in like that, make sure you connect cuz if you don't prepare to get hit hard...It's a fight, you're going to get hit but there are things you can do to limit putting yourself in vulnerable situations...Like not lunging into a southpaws power zone trying to double up the right hook...I still don't know wtf Alvarez was thinking with that lunge...

Yeah conor took the loss well. That still doesnt mean he deserved a titleshot. He went up in weight but he had a full camp an nate came in on 10 days. He got washed by the 4 ranked lw, then he had a controversial decision against him. Only reason conor got this fight is like you said hes popular and the cash cow, not because he deserves it.

Read what I wrote, much like tito when he was bolting under bad circumstances and they served him to machida (at the height of his reign of terror). Brock when he wanted to cut high and dry and they served him to overeem if McGregor is threatening to quit unless they make him a partner it would spell the end of the gravy train.

If he's not going to stick around and make them money do you honestly think they will give him favourable booking on potentially his last fight or is it more likely they book him in a losable fight where an active fighter gets some sort of rub by beating him before he leaves
