Diaz has phenominal chin only been knocked out once and that was from a head kick, plus being the bigger man alowed him to absorb even more. Connor hits hard if you watch any fighter that has huge ko power 9/10 when they hit there opposition they completely forget what it is there trying to do. That's the dynamic no one is taking into consideration when talking about this guy it's the same effect Anthony Johnson has or prime chuck Liddell.

Why are people in here acting like the UFC always gives rematches to people that lose the title ? I didn't see bisping or woodley doing that , TJ damn sure didn't get his either snd he been begging. Khabib is very good but like others said man isn't a draw and has been inactive . You build 205 around him and Alvarez and he gets hurt ??? Big flop

Conor McGregor Says He Wants an Ownership Stake in the UFC Now

Conor McGregor spoke last night (via MMAjunkie) following his UFC lightweight title win at UFC 205, which made him a double champion. Some highlights are below:

On wanting a stake in the UFC: “They’ve got to come talk to me now because no one’s came and talked to me since the sale has happened as a businessman. I’ve been approached as, ‘Hello’ and that type of stuff, but I’ve earned something. Who owns the company now? People have shares. Celebrities. Conan O’Brien owns the UFC now. Where’s my share? Where’s my equity? If I’m the one that’s bringing this, they’ve got to come talk to me now. I’ve got both belts, family on the way. If you want me to stick around, if you want me to keep doing (this), let’s talk. But I want the ownership now. I want the equal share. I want what I deserve, what I’ve earned.”

On wanting to be paid more: “I feel I’ve outworn the previous contract. Now it’s time for the real. I know I’m the highest paid already, but when I’m looking at what they’re taking in, that list that (former UFC CEO) Lorenzo (Fertitta) compiled to show the new owners, that’s like the gospel right there. That’s proof of what I bring. You want me to come around, stick around and service that debt and continue to push, bring me on board for real. Not just as this. I need to be set for life for this. If you want me to be truly in on this then I need to be all-in on this, proper. That’s a stake in the company.”

On having a daughter on the way and his next fight: “Twenty-eight is young, so we’ll see. Fresh, I am. Not a bother on me. I could go again. I honestly could go again no problem. I’m just going to go chill for a bit, enjoy these two belts and that’s it. I could keep going, but I’m aware of my worth. I’ve got a family on the way, I’ve got a kid on the way, and I’m coming for mine now.”

Diaz lasted 5 rounds. Alvarez's been dropped multiple times by:

Joachim Hansen
Tetsuya kawajiri
And now conor McGregor

He took huge bombs in all of those fights. He's been in a ton of wars over his career. While he's not washed, you cannot deny being knocked down 15-20 times early on his in his careeer did not have an effect on his chin last night

Did it have an effect ? Sure it's hard to say to how it did though . We've seen Connor do this to people better than Alvarez but we only seen Eddie get tko once years ago .

She's probably still mad about that Slick $hit last year..she had that streak of victories and was supposed to get the next title shot against Ronda but he gave it to Holly instead and she had to be humiliated and eat that. Not to mention he clearly favors Ronda and gift wraps her return in easy fashion, as she's apparently trying to get out without fighting Holly again
