He only has a fan base wit hardcore mma fans. Casual fans have no idea who he is or cn even pick him out in a line up. Hence why he is on da undercard.
His fanbase is in russia. Brehs lebron out there. He got like 1 million instagram followers. Will that translate to ppv, idk how that works out there but he got a legit following.

meh i think Conor is over the Diaz thing, he has moved on and has achieved everything he said he would. there;s no real hype for a 3rd Diaz fight anyway IMO i think he will take some time off, 6 months or so, wait for a Khabib/Cucuy fight and see who the winner is from that. he deserves a break
Damn thats straight ether. Have tony whos been on a 9 fight win streak, fight khabib whos undefeated suplexing brehs, while conor was giftwraped the titleshot after gettin choked out and winnin a close decision that many though he lost.

Khabib been out too long tho, how many fights has he had in the last 2-3 years? he came back & washed MJ but that's not enough to get a title shot straight away. we all know COnor got this shot because he backs up what he says and he is popular. remember he was lined up to go for the LW title against RDA but he bytched out so he fought Nate. had no qualms about moving the weight up and when he lost he didn't go & cry like a little bytch like Rousey, he's a true fighter so he was gunning for the rematch.

You would have preferred he killed him? :patrice:

No, Alvarez was clearly in a bad position but wasn't out cold and watching it back in slow mo was still defending against Conor. Conor wasn't hitting him clean on the ground. I've seen lots of fights where the ref let it go longer with a fighter in the same or worse shape, including during the prelims last night.

It depends on who the fighter is, how they have fought before, how quickly do they recover, have they shown the ability to come back before? How many times has he already been knocked down in the fight?

:what: How many times does a guy have to be knocked down and hit? Just because it's Conor doesn't mean they took it easy on him doesn't he ever get any praise from you guys?

Relax. Not trying to take anything away from Conor. Just thought the ref should have given it a few more seconds, esp watching the call back in slow mo.

It took a lot longer to call the Nurmogomedov fight and his opponent was in worse shape.

Breh, the fight was clearly done and Eddie was finished. Conor did pop him clean once on the ground too. Eddie wasn't even right enough to talk after the fight
