Amazing fight. Women's MMA came a long way.

Tate and Holly both put together damn near perfect fight plans. Also, this ain't the same Tate Ronda is about to fight. Manhandling Holly for a full round like that? :wow::wow::wow: Ronda could barely keep her arms around Holly when they fought. Meisha put some serious work in - and you just know she'd rather die than give the belt to Ronda of all people.

Ronda should quit:ld: its gonna be savage as fukk.
Ronda easily beats Tate...Steamroll her, get in the clinch, judo flip, armbar...Holly was afraid of the clinch, and yet she put herself situations were she was going to get clinched...All she had to do was STOP attacking in the 5th...

Let Tate get desperate and just jab her to death like she did to Ronda...Even before Tate had that finally clinch, it just looked like Tate had NOTHING except patience...

The fighters are so happy to see this guy lose
And yet a few hours before that fight they were all saying "he is good for the sport"...Just because you are a professional fighter it don't mean your mentality ain't bietch made...:russ:

A real dude would have said "Connor talks a lot of shat and I won't see him eat his words" then celebrate when he does finally lose...I can dig that...

But if I heard you say "Conor is good for the sport" and see you celebrate after he loses then you are showing me how suspect your heart is...

There's been all this talk of Conor's conditioning, did he not have a full training camp though?

Dude was still bulking up during fight week (bragging about eating two breakfasts each morning and ish). He probably had no time to really test his stamina out in a real fight with that much added mass and he wound up fighting one of the top pressure fighters in MMA to test it out. Dude gassed badly. Great performance from Nate, I can't wait to see where he goes from here.

The were being company men but enjoyed doing their job when it was time to be commentators about his loss

Ronda isn't easily beating Tate or Holm anymore. She hasn't improved in 2 years while Meisha and Holly have made clear, huge growth all around.

Also, Holly didn't "run" from the clinch. She used it and even opted for it after stuffing takedown attempts. After the 3rd was when it started to look like Meisha would potentially try to pull guard on her. With the points lead and a clear advantage standing, it wasn't worth it even though she was at the very least even there.

In the 5th Meisha was aggressive as fukk. She didn't throw the same attempt at her over and over and eventually ended up using Holly's own striking confidence against her to swing her down. Patience is when you set someone up, knowing you're going to take damage. It wasn't just the clock. Whatever she was doing made Holly ease off that a$$hole thigh kick that was probably the last thing keeping her standing through the 3rd and 4th. There wasn't anything desperate in the fight at all until Holm tried to stand at the very end.

Also, Ronda can't move her fukking head at all. Comparing her approaches to Tate's last night is :comeon:

Or step up your BRazillian Jiujitsu game because you cant turn MMA into kickboxing with ground and pound after you knock someone down.
That's the thing...Holly didn't even need any other level of BJJ than she already has...

She lost the fight because she didn't play it safe...

Holly should have started "running away" in the 5th...Let Miesha do all the work to cut the Octagon and eat jabs has she desperately moves forward for a takedown (her only hope)...

I don't think a Male fighter can ever become championship fighting with Miesha's strategy...They don't even make it to a title fight with that "I am just going to hope I get a take down" strategy...
