She brings nothing to the table, Biden polled better than she did with us during the primaries...

I don't see how she solidifies the black vote especially with her appalling record in CA...She makes women of color happy, but 97% of black women were voting Biden anyways...For us black men she is a polarizing pick at best, you only stand to lose votes when her record gets put on blast again like it did during the Dem debates and killed off her POTUS run...

What is even more puzzling about this pick and may end up costing the Dems the election is the 30% of their base which been pissed off with the establishment cuz they feel Bernie and progressives got shafted again...Bernie bros been infiltrated by Rethuglican agents trying to convince these disenfranchised Dem voters not to vote...I don't understand how an all moderate pro Wall Street law and order ticket is going to help change that narrative with this portion of the Dem base...

Its an idiotic gamble to expect anybody to vote for this ticket because Trump...

I agree I don't think she will bring many new voters in. The play is to snag a few more younger progressive minded black voters (think Bernie or Warren supporters) who can be baited with the idea of a black woman vice president and possible future president (Biden's not making it past one term if he gets elected and she'll be the front runner during the next election). The key is they want to increase black voter turnout which was low during Hilary's run even though she received a high percentage of our vote.

As far as the 30% you mentioned you saw what the problem was first hand during the primary. They didn't show up at the polls. The only reason Bernie had a good showing in the first two states was because all the moderate voters were split among Mayor Pete, Klobuchar, Warren, etc. Once they dropped out all those votes coalesced around Biden and he blew Bernie out after SC. The tale of the tape will be getting people out (or mailing in) to vote.
