Above the fray.
Oh...you one of those...

speed it up then each verse has at least 2 bars that are embedded into our minds at least for me it's U-Gods last 2 bars due to the wordplay

Like what you like
haven't heard the song in at least a year and can recite every verse ........except his.

malachi the nutcracker > ugod

pras from the fugees > ugod

Yes.

Big part that's missing in all this is U-God's debut album was on Wu-Tang Records, an independent label distributed by Priority that, after being founded to release PYN before the Loud deal, was primarily built by releasing Sunz singles and Killarmy albums, along w/ the Swarm, Wu Chronicles, etc... U-God wouldn't have a budget for his debut that no other record label signed him on without Sunz and Killarmy establishing that label and building it into something first. Also one of the main reasons the label folded was not recouping on U-God's advance when his album didn't sell like they thought a core Wu member would.

RZA didn't support U's debut huh?

I never knew all of this :leon: and I didn't even remember that Live From LA performance.

I still think RZA should've produced all of U, Deck, and Masta's albums if they wanted him too.

RZA is one man, so working with a lot of those other artists took away time he could've use to produce and work more actively helping U, Deck and Masta.

I hear what you saying bout the record deals and the business part of the whole ordeal, but I still think U, Deck and Masta ain't get a fair shake.

shyt, Masta ain't drop his first solo album until 2004. :skip:

he probably ain't the easiest to deal with.

On top of that, he is the least marketable of the 9 members.

this is how i see it....he always comes across as moody and salty.....that eventually grates on people and they don't want to spend time in your company...

he also lacks charisma and a sense of humour....and he's got a basic flow and is very monotone...

if he did drop an album in the Wu Tang heyday he would've needed to be carried by guest spots...
