Big part that's missing in all this is U-God's debut album was on Wu-Tang Records, an independent label distributed by Priority that, after being founded to release PYN before the Loud deal, was primarily built by releasing Sunz singles and Killarmy albums, along w/ the Swarm, Wu Chronicles, etc... U-God wouldn't have a budget for his debut that no other record label signed him on without Sunz and Killarmy establishing that label and building it into something first. Also one of the main reasons the label folded was not recouping on U-God's advance when his album didn't sell like they thought a core Wu member would.

U ain't saying RZA didn't support.

He saying RZA ain't go all out for him.

U-God wasn't on Loud like Rae and Deck.

He wasn't on The RZA's 50/50 deal with Razor Sharp/Epic like Cappa and Ghost.

Nor was he on Def Jam, Geffen or Elektra like Meth, GZA,and Dirty, respectively.

Now, there was reason for it of course. It is U-god.

U probably would have done the same numbers on those major labels.

That video performance is evidence as to why he was on Wu-Tang records, and not a major. RZA tried to lookout for him having him on the smaller label like Wu-Tang records.

They did the same thing with Masta Killa and Nature sounds. That worked out well.

Even if U-God had blown up, and did Meth-type numbers, he'd probably still complain though.
