Honestly, is he wrong tho?
Yes.
Big part that's missing in all this is U-God's debut album was on Wu-Tang Records, an independent label distributed by Priority that, after being founded to release PYN before the Loud deal, was primarily built by releasing Sunz singles and Killarmy albums, along w/ the Swarm, Wu Chronicles, etc... U-God wouldn't have a budget for his debut that no other record label signed him on without Sunz and Killarmy establishing that label and building it into something first. Also one of the main reasons the label folded was not recouping on U-God's advance when his album didn't sell like they thought a core Wu member would.
RZA didn't support U's debut huh?
You buggin'name all the wu group or solo songs ruined by a u-god verse.
his shyt on triumph is one of the worst rap verses I've ever heard
get golden arms the fukk outta here
you must be related to him.......that shyt is even more garbage when it's typed outYou buggin'
Olympic torch flaming, we burn so sweet
The thrill of victory, the agony, defeat
We crush slow, flamin deluxe slow
For,
judgment day cometh, conquer, it's war
Allow us to escape, hell glow spinning bomb
Pocket full of shells out the sky, Golden Arms
Tune spit the shytty Mortal Kombat sound
The fateful step make, the blood stain the ground
A jungle junkie, vigilante tantrum
A death kiss, catwalk, squeeze another anthem
Hold it for ransom, tranquilized with anesthetics
My orchestra, graceful, music ballerinas
My music Sicily, rich California smell
An axe killer adventure, paint a picture well
I sing a song from Sing-Sing, sippin on ginseng
Righteous wax chaperone, rotating ring king
His verse hits all poetic points, visuals, word play and symbolism
All 3 Killarmy albums were better than his debut though
Speaking of which, I bet he wasn't kicking that shyt when he provided this hook
Uey can be salty as shyt sometimes :loldenzel2:
Oh...you one of those...you must be related to him.......that shyt is even more garbage when it's typed out
only ghost can spit gibberish and make it sound dope
Yes.

I feel like I'm the only person on earth that actually enjoyed U-God's debut album. It was some hard ass shyt on there:
Edit: ok I just skimmed the album again and yeah it was trash
