okc purposefully benched him to try to cap his potential.
that is why currently lamb/pjiii/jqckson are not given much on purpose.

Low key this is one of the shadiest moves a fo can do. I know its a business but you don't allocate minutes based on contract considerations.

it is mad shady.
they are trying to stockpile two durants in kd and pjiii.
by not effectively using pjiii as durant 2.o.
shyt is consistently blatant, and pisses me off.
as, I am a big Durant and pjiii guy since they were in hs.
easily their biggest Stans watching them make the NBA.

:mjlol: @ thinkin' Harden was gettin them past the Spurs

Like the year they got past the Spurs on their way to the finals? Perspective; context....etc.

If you can't see how trading away the current highest scorer in the league was a mistake considering OKC are fighting for a playoff position, then I don't know what to tell you.

This is still a thread?

The Harden trade is on the verge of ruining the entire OKC franchise...

It's literally been one of the worst trades in NBA history when you think about what it has done for both teams...

OKC was on a roll...no players ever got hurt...they trade harden...and one of their superstars gets a serious knee injury against the TEAM HARDEN PLAYS FOR THAT IS ONLY IN THE PLAYOFFS BECAUSE HARDEN GOT THEM THERE...like I can't believe people don't get this...this dude Westbrook had played every basketball game since damn near high school and the very first time he plays a team led by James Harden in the playoffs he suffers a serious knee injury that turns into three fukking surgeries...this trade almost derrick rose'd one of their star players...

On top of that OKC lost their "48 minutes of elite scoring edge"...because in the last 3 years their are 3 things that if you did well no other team could beat you unless they also did one of the three things well...otherwordly ball movement (San Antonio...3 straight WCF...2 straight finals....1 title) otherwordly ball trapping (Miami...4 straight finals...2 titles) "48 minutes of elite scoring" (OKC 1 Finals appearance)...Harden on OKC allowed them to have at least 1 guy on the court who could get any shot he wanted...get any shot for somebody if he wanted...catch fire from anywhere on the court...get to the line at a ridiculous clip...for 48 minutes...so if you did not have the same or could move the ball at an elite level or trap at an elite level you were toast because eventually you going to go to your bench guys who aren't going to give you much and either Durant, Sabo, or Harden are going to torch them for minutes at a time...that is eventually how they beat swag antonio...as the series went on manu and hill and bonner just could not go shot for shot with harden...he would always come up with a big make and they would always come up with a big miss or a turnover...it finally caught up to them in the end...

And what was Houston doing before they got Harden? And didn't Harden allow Houston to get Dwight (looking like a non factor now but played well for them last year)...Isn't Houston going to be a perennial playoff team for the foreseeable future as long as Harden is there? Were they making the playoffs before Harden got there?

And what has OKC done since they traded Harden? They wen't to the finals with him. Have they advanced that far since he left?

And what about the players they got for Harden? Where did Kevin Martin take them? What is Jeremy Lamb doing for them now?

Trade literally knocked OKC down from "they will eventually win a ring status" to "another team getting sonned by swag antonio status" and lifted houston from "wait how many power forwards do they have status to oh look ANOTHER team from the southwest division is making the playoffs status"

Dudes is out here struggling to make the playoffs while Hard Body Harden is setting up Backboard assaulting shawty with transition 3's:mjlol:

I like some of the players in the okc, but I absolutely hate that organization and they deserve this shyt happening to them. Steal a franchise to see their players getting stolen.

What they did with Harden trade was a bytchmade move that defined the ownership and front office of this team, they chose to save money and fool people by creating this championship contender illusion, they fill up the seats every night because fans are still going to watch a very competitive team, but it's not a dynasty anymore, when they clearly had the potential to be one.

Perry Jones could have been one of the top picks if not for injury, ok he slipped many spots lower the next year but when healthy this guy can play, he had some great games when KD and RW were out, but he's wasting his time on this team same way Jeremy Lamb does too. I hope both guys leave this team the same wat Reggie Jackson gonna do this year. Now then we will see some fukkery going on, also I don't understand this waiters trade, why bring this useless a$$hole when some of your talented players need more minutes :why:

This team's gonna be a huge misery if they don't win a title in the next few years.

Horrible trade and wasnt needed. They will lose Westbrook and Durant easily in the next three years and will have nothing to show for it. Signing Harden was needed.

If they don't at least get to the finals this year or next year, Durant will leave and people will never stop talking about the Harden trade. You can't be cheap when you have a core of stars who went to the finals at the age of 22/23. That's something special.

OKC offered harden like $52M at the time. I thought it was a good deal given his production for the thunder.

hell, I thought the rockets were nuts for maxing dude out. I was totally wrong there obviously. as were the thunder.
