If they don't at least get to the finals this year or next year, Durant will leave and people will never stop talking about the Harden trade. You can't be cheap when you have a core of stars who went to the finals at the age of 22/23. That's something special.

Breh, they were being cheap...WHILE being under the cap...WHILE making a profit EVERY fukkING YEAR...

It's unbelievable when you think about it really...they could have gone at least 1 more year with Harden and not lost anything financially...

And in hindsight with what Kevin Martin did for them and for what Lamb is doing for them they might as well have let him walk in free agency for nothing, because neither one of those players moved the needle for OKC at all...

And then they backdoor all of this by trading for Dion Waiters...which puts them right at the cap:mjlol:

I swear if I was building a sports team the no 1 thing i would have to have is OKC fans because they would let me do bull shyt like trade a top 15 player in the league...before the player is even in his prime...get almost nothing in return...and I could still sellout every game...make money hand over fist, and tell the fans "we a small market team we can't afford it. No don't pay attention to that NBA report that says we made 20 million last year that is bogus we are a small market team. "...

Can't wait to see what they panic trade russ and/or kd for:mjlol:

And to top it all off...the guy they kept over Harden, Ibaka...who was just a beast on the boards...specifically the offensive glass...what do they do? Have him start jacking up 3's IN THE EXACT SAME YEAR they sign Anthony Morrow...who is just...you know...one of the top 3 point shooters in the league...since he came into the league...

Just dragging your great rebounder away from the basket for no reason

Make floor spacing your top priority when you have no post presence brehs...

I really wanna know what Brooks issue with Lamb is. I just don't get it.

You wanna do a Jordan Hill for Perk and Lamb trade? :feedme:

Because Brooks is a stubborn a$$hole who as a player was in the NBA a hustle guy. A lot of what Brooks does goes on if he thinks your just playing hard & Lamb just looks like he doesn't try hard because he always looks like he just woke up or is about to fall asleep.

Reggie (after everyone got back) this year until Waiters got here was playing just as shytty as Brooks thinks Lamb does, but Reggie has built up enough good faith with Brooks that the name on his jersey kept him getting his 25-30 minutes regardless. Waiters showed up & was harrassing people on defense for a couple games so he started eating into Reggies minutes.

Breh.. Hand to God I had originally typed out about a paragraph on that Brooks hustle-Lamb effortless theory but after re-reading it I thought " nah you sound crazy". Brooks is such a chump

Act like a 23 year old Olympian can't get better bruhs.
His defense been ass since the trade. Considering he was a 6th man that's the only thing he coulda have tried to improve upon to get him to start.

And the same ones saying what you said about Harden thought Westbrook needed to get dealt for a "real PG"

If you want me to say they should trade Durant then you win that battle my friend, they should trade him he's garbage.
Actually I'm saying it's pretty dumb that some people are saying Harden is not a great player and OKC doesn't miss him because he had a few bad playoff series. As if Lebron/Durant/Kobe all at one point didn't have bad series in their careers.

you mean they didn't WANT to pay all their players. OKC's front office has proven they are cheap. looks like this time it backfired on them.

I don't know how else to explain this. You're saying "they didn't WANT to pay all their players" as if their general manager is the one that controls the finances.

Two things:

1) How much you're allowed to spend is set by the owner.
and
2) Actually, they could not AFFORD to give Harden/Westbrook/KD max type money AND pay Ibaka near market value. And even if some of them took paycuts and it got under the line, you still have to field other players. You wouldn't even have money to pay players you draft. They are at 75 Million, now. Without Harden.

The best thing they got offered was overrated ass Bradley Beal.

6th men, even the best ones, don't fetch a shyt ton in return
This is bullshyt. He was a sixth man in depth but his potential was a very good productive starter at threast. And while prezti did at the very least attempt to get consolation the pending loss of harden but presti couldve waited to do pull off the trade and waited for more offers. He felt like he had to get a transaction done right away.
