According to the wife, he tried to kick in the door...but it's hard for me to believe the wife when she doesn't mention anything about her husband putting scissors in the shooter's face...I also find it strange that the wife would go into the hallway to confront a man who just kicked in her door.

Again why are you and other posters placing more blame on the wife instead of the person that initiated the confrontation in the first place. Y'all are giving the shooter more benefit of a doubt than the wife. Not to mention there's no audio in the video, so you don't even know what she's saying to make that judgement.

Considering that the suspect is now dead after lounging at police with a knife (his 2nd run-in with them after originally pointing at them years ago), I'm willing to give the woman the benefit of a doubt for that very reason.

I've reached the point where I literally will not even get into an argument with anyone these days. If I even see people arguing in any environment, whether that be a party, a casino, an apartment, a cookout, I leave. People are unhinged ticking time bombs and are just waiting for an opportunity to snap and pull out a gun. I find myself admitting fault and just being overly gracious even when I'm not wrong because I actually have things to live for. It didn't dawn on me until I got older that you could die anytime you get into a physical altercation or even being in the vicinity of one.


I've seen people snap over normal everyday situations like asking someone are they done using a kiosk at the casino or this one time, I acidentally tapped the back of this lady's bumber while driving and she got out like she ready to fight me as if insurance wouldn't cover any damages. Just a common accident that didn't cause any damage had her on edge.

People are stressed, underpaid and generally just waiting to take that out on someone......so I've mastered de-esclating things even if it looks like I got punked.

I'm not beefing with a neighbor for 6 years. I likely would have invited dude over for dinner, had my wife cook and smoothed everything over before I pulled out a pair of scisors on dude. That's unhinged. shyt yall beefing and gotta live in the same apartment complex. You could have turned dude into a friend. Grab some wings, some beer, watch a game and just squash the shyt.

hopefully he survives so he can do all those years. maybe I'm bugging but in the longer vid that was posted to IG I saw someone point out that it appears that he doubled back and shot the son in the head as well after he pushed for the elevator. there's a jumpcut in the video and you can see the shooter standing over his body with the gun out and then the son's position changes.

I was going by what another poster said in this thread said that he was dead.
