nah, there are people like me who prefer text to video. I use twitter embeds on the coli because tweets disseminates text, photos and videos which youtube can't do.

The same platform that encourages sub 140 character messages, the janky manner of having/following conversations, block happy users etc.
The main form of communication on Twitter is ranting into the void. Glad this stupid ass racist boer is taking this L
companies are being informed of poor service and defective products with users adding in their own experiences. local governments and even the police departments use social media for discourse with citizens. critiquing on social media works to get a response from huge entities that would ignore folks pre-social media.
i've seen conservations about various public transportation, ride-sharing, and even discussions thats lead to dispelling peoples previously held opinions/beliefs.
if people were merely ranting into a void. there'd be little controversy about the site.
