It’s cumulative. The average donation is probably like $20. But when you have hundreds of thousands of ppl donating that then it adds up. Also there’s rich donors that donate 4 and five figures. Y’all have to realize these social media platforms are global. There’s how many billions of ppl in the world? Just need to get a small fraction of that to give you $5, $10, $20 etc dollars and you’re making millions.

And white people (since we want to be bring race into this ) have way more disposable income than black people recognize.

It's really tough to break the 25 view thresh-hold and very tough to get 75 consistent views for 20-30 days straight (one of requirements to get partnered). Not 75 people hosted up, but raw eyes. but due to twitches lack of promotion, a lot of black people even at partner get hard stuck in hundreds. A lot of these people on this list are legacies from the previous site or have fame outside the platform are able to translate it well to the site. And even then, there are famous people who do not get over 1K.

Not the only but a major, if you are already famous or something to your name, you can talk to twitch and they'll just do for you. Forgot to also mention, you can reach that requirement along w/ the others, and they still can deny you. a lot of people apply for 2-3 times.

I knew someone who streamed(and was semi succesful), and he basically said it's better for black people to stream on facebook than twitch, since there is more of us there. Plus lets face it, twitch does have a huge race issue and if you don't have thick skin you not going to make it.
